On our final trip together, Cheyanne and I ended up outside of Olympia Washington at a natural area called Mima Mounds. The nasty PNW weather prevented us form doing a lot of what we had planned on doing so this was a side quest that gave some pretty ethereal pieces in the end. She was generally opposed to the more raw/ less makeup type images - saying she looked "plain" - but I actually like these a lot.

Alice (@creaturenoir) is a Sacramento based art nude model who looks remarkably like Kiersten Dunst, and we shot both in her hotel in DTLA and around San Pedro this week. This was maybe 10 minutes before she realized someone had stolen her whole wallet with ID, credit cards, and cash. One of my favorite people I ever shot with is Olivia, who named my cats and let me stay with her and her husband in Colorado during a visit. I recently went to a screening of Love Death + Robots with he show creators Tim Miller and Jennifer Yuh Nelson and was reminded that Olivia was the first person to show me it. We shot these in Estes Park back in 2022.

Someone asked if I sold negatives, and in searching/ packing them up I came across some from our "Unhinged Sink + Wine" shoot I had yet to scan. On the same day I FINALLY developed the Lomo Turquoise film shot at Laguna Beach over a month back. Even when I loaded the film in the camera, Sawyer already told me she wasn't gonna like the weird colors of the Turquoise!
