The Cavern Fungiwood
In this otherwordly corner of the Great Cavern grows a luminescent forest of tall, crowded mushrooms. An ominous statue stands in a stonecut room in the far back. Spooky!

Today's fun map is another set piece for your city - and I think an entire city IS possible with the number of buildings available now - an arcane forge and storefront!
Part three of the Great Cavern is here. This Crossroad is the junction between the cavern's three major tunnels, one of which is filled with frothing water, another with strange fungi, and the last with cages and torture devices. What fun!

A warm welcome to everyone who's new this month - thank you! And sorry this coupon came a little late, my calendar reminder bugged out.

A companion piece for Tomer Abramovici’s cavern set and upcoming adventure, today's map is the strange Mermaid Inn. Despite the magical aquarium in the room's center, this building can fit well into low or high fantasy games. You can read a few of my ideas in the Read More below:
The second piece to the Great Cavern, an enormous room of cages. Not a bad map for a classic prisoner campaign start, either!
Hi everyone!
I'm currently working on a very large project, and rather than leave you without any content this week, I want to share an excellent map made by fellow Patron Ryan Saunders, who kindly sent a few maps to me along with permission to share them with you all.
The ZIP attached contains the straw hut village seen above, each with their own interiors a la the modular build...

Built on the edge of a lazy river, this stilted town acts as an excellent stage for your best modular building combos. Placeholder roofs included!
Hi Patrons! And welcome to everyone from DawnforgedCast's flattering video. I have a little freebie for you today picked straight out of the campaign I run.
This is the small village of Ueda, built at the foot of a steep mountain (left). Part way up stands the Ueda palace, where Dragon Lord Ueda Ban resides. Part way down, protected by cliff and stone wall, is the craftsman's terrace. Beyond that sprawls the farms and homes of the peasantry.
Please note this is a freebie and is n...

The opening to a great cavern, my latest (enormous) project. Check out the blog post below to learn more about this upcoming eight-map cave system!
A collection of bits and bobs with which to construct your own traveling caravan!
This week's video tutorial covers my (current favorite) method for drawing cave walls. In fact, it's exactly the sort found in the Damp Mines set!

Grass may not be the most exciting thing, but you can bet on drawing it a LOT if you draw your own maps. In this video, I provide a few tips on keeping it interesting yet uncluttered. Enjoy!

The perfect place to shipwreck or bury your treasures, the tiny Tropical Island.
This week I've drawn up 20 watchtower pieces for you to mix-and-match into whatever style of timber tower you may need.
It feels good to revisit the set piece collection every now and again, and personally I know I'll get some good mileage out of this one.
Another DM's Drawing Guide, this time on how I draw rubble! Essentially, "The 9 minute guide to scribbling."

One of my first maps, only now discovered, reformatted, and uploaded for the first time to the gallery. Despite my primitively drawn trees, it's one of my old favorites!
I'm wrapping up the tree drawing mini-series today with my guide to drawing fallen trees - fun, pretty, but quite tricky! I hope you all enjoy it.

It's a wonder why nobody has built an inn here yet, on this long road between two towns. Packed earth marks the popular pit stop, and the local outlaws know it.
Episode two of the DM's Drawing Guide to trees is up! Aren't they happy looking?

Hi Patrons!
Though I don't charge you for videos, I still want to share them with you. I'm working on this DM's Drawing Guide series thanks to your constant support and suggestion, so please pat yourselves on the back!
Please let me know what you'd like to see in this series. So far I've done palm trees, elevation and now regular trees. What shall I work on next?
This week's maps have been delayed by a number of commissions I'm happy to be working on, so stay tuned for ...

Keeping with the damp theme of the Damp Mine, the exterior of said mine is a wonderfully rainy day. I could really go for a day like this right now...
I've been exercising my tunnel drawing muscles, and this is the result. Let me know what your encounter ideas are! I've written a few of my own down on my blog, linked below.

An adventure in the art of drawing water with a pen. The result is a bit more stylized than most of my maps, and comes with a no-lines version too, in case you want something more subtle for your ships to fight over.
Today's oriental themed map is designed as a setting for a 6x4 modular building, but you can quite easily use it for another purpose. I wrote a few ideas down here - enjoy!
In stark contrast to last week's snowy map, today's is a colorful, tropical cove. I'm sure many of you Northerners are dreaming of just such a place right now! (Minus the sea-bandits, perhaps)
Inspired by my longing for cooler weather and a concept provided by DawnforgedCast, this map might lead to a fun sidequest or roadside encounter.
