Some more on 1 handed inverts: featuring the other side!
2024-01-12 11:00:54 +0000 UTC View PostThe next few tutorials will be about some pole flips, and some ways of making them easier and more attainable.
A core part of making pole flips more achievable is to break them down into progressions that allow you to retain control for longer, so that you can build up muscle memory without risking injury or scaring yourself. For many flips, a solid 1h invert will give you a secure start that can keep you supported throughout the move, so they are well worth learning!
If you can ...
2024-01-12 10:58:24 +0000 UTC View PostSomeone once asked if there as a move called the ‘blumineck’. There isn’t, but afaik I am the only person who’s thought up this drop from Janeiro into an elbow catch. At the very least, I figured it out rather than copying anyone else!
It does hurt though!
2024-01-10 18:34:09 +0000 UTC View PostHey all, hope 2024 is starting well for you all!
I've been a little quieter than intended lately, so sorry for the missed comments, etc. I was staying somewhere with ATROCIOUS internet access, and then got pretty unpleasantly ill, but the good news is I'm on the mend and hopefully getting back to some filming!
If you haven't already seen it, I recently posted an edited version of the 'Perception ...
2024-01-09 13:46:31 +0000 UTC View PostThere's a lot of work to do here to get to where I want to be, but it's a start!

This is the routine I'd intended to post recently. Sadly, the light flicker is a bit too intense for public posting (if anyone knows a way to remove that in post, lmk, otherwise I'll re-film it)
This is a very silly routine, but then again, it's a very silly song!
2024-01-03 17:05:03 +0000 UTC View PostSorry this week's update is delayed. Between Christmas and New Years stuff it's been a very busy period. Here's a quick preview of things to come. Hope you all have a very happy new year!
2023-12-31 19:42:42 +0000 UTC View PostHere are some progressions for the wrist seat!
2023-12-29 18:30:05 +0000 UTC View PostIt's a busy time right now and it's hard to shoot arrows at a storm, so here's an indoor workout. I try to do some combination of pullups at least 3-4 times a week if possible, as they help with supplementary strength for both pole and archery. The 1 handed version is a WIP!
2023-12-28 20:48:40 +0000 UTC View PostHope you're all having a great holiday period! I've delayed the weekly update a little because I've barely had any breathing room this week, so here's a tutorial!
2023-12-28 20:43:52 +0000 UTC View PostMerry Christmas to everyone that celebrates it! Hope you're all well, and looking forward to the new year. This a quick pointer on focus points that can help with dizziness in spin pole, as well as aiming when moving in archery!

Check out the pictures from the smoke photoshoot with KEPhotos. For the polers among you, the moves are, from left to right: cupid, outside leg hang, flag and Janeiro. For the archers, the moves are: shooting an arrow, and shooting an arrow upside down.
I did this photoshoot back in summer, but due to some technical problems and emails going missing, I've only just gotten them back.
I might be AFK over the next few days, but for thoae who celebrate it, have a very Merry Christmas...
2023-12-23 16:00:06 +0000 UTC View PostGot your figurehead and want to work on making it harder? Try some of these!
2023-12-20 18:27:37 +0000 UTC View PostFigurehead is a very pretty beginner/improver level move, but it requires fairly careful placement to make sure you're working with the physics of your body rather than against it!
2023-12-20 18:25:54 +0000 UTC View PostHere are some of my tips and recommendations for buying pole shorts if you are male/AMAB!
2023-12-18 14:35:50 +0000 UTC View PostGonna try to make this a regular thing, so here's a preview into things that were, thanks that are, and some things that have not yet come to pass!
Foot archery video is here, for those that want to check it out!
Otherwise, let me know what you'd like to see over the next couple of weeks 😁
2023-12-18 11:42:08 +0000 UTC View PostPart 2 of the previous video, focusing on making the flip faster and smoother.
2023-12-15 12:00:09 +0000 UTC View PostThis is a relatively straightforward trick, but it can take some time to learn and build confidence for! The trick is to take your time, and ensure that you are comfortable at each stage before moving on to the next level!
I'd recommend being at least intermediate level before trying this flip, so that the controlled stage at the beginning feels safe and achievable, which will help with working up to the harder versions!
2023-12-14 16:05:45 +0000 UTC View PostThank you so much for all your support! I'm sorry for not realising that a bunch of you were on here: I'll be sure to post some content updates and previews, etc. on public in future so you all have something to see!
Speaking of, if you haven't already seen my latest video on pole dancing fully clothed (vs in pole wear), check it out here!
See you all around!
2023-12-12 18:30:01 +0000 UTC View PostVoice over for this one because there were others training in the studio when I did filming.
Baby Fonji is a high intermediate level move that can take a while to master. And as the name suggests, it's also a big step on the road to a full fonji!
The key to these moves is to take your time. Ensure that you have each step down to the point where it feels like second nature, so that when you finally commit to the full move, the motions are already instinctive!
2023-12-12 12:50:15 +0000 UTC View PostDespite the name, this is actually less uncomfortable than Frodo, and it's more about balance than anything!
2023-12-09 14:37:01 +0000 UTC View PostFrodo is theoretically a very simple move. The difficulty is in committing to it, especially once you've discovered how uncomfortable it can be!
2023-12-08 14:59:49 +0000 UTC View PostHere's a handful of intermediate and advanced moves that I've been teaching in my in-person classes lately. It's by no means an exhaustive list, but if you'd like to see tutorials of any of these specifically, let me know. Otherwise, enjoy the show!
2023-12-06 19:19:05 +0000 UTC View PostI might do some more on pole handstands in the future, but it will be when I have more space! Maybe if I can get the studio above 5 degrees C sometime 😂
2023-12-01 12:00:07 +0000 UTC View PostThis series is intended to follow on from the headstands I posted earlier in the week.
Before you progress to handstands, make sure that you've warmed your wrists up. If ther start to give you pain, take a break, and don't push them further than you're comfortable with! They will get stronger over time, but it's not worth injuring yourself over!
2023-11-30 16:11:22 +0000 UTC View PostThe last step is to do it away from the wall! Once you can free-stand your headstand, it's a great life skill! Feel free to break it out at parties or business events, even when you don't have a pole available!
2023-11-29 12:30:01 +0000 UTC View PostIf you can do these with a pole, you can start to improve your confidence by working with a wall. You can't throw them quite as hard, so it takes a little more balance!
2023-11-28 20:00:04 +0000 UTC View PostI like playing around with floor balances, because they're some of the only pole skills that you can train and improve when you don't have a pole handy!
Sorry about the sound quality at times here! The mic got caught in my shirt so it's nearly in my mouth at some points 😬 if I get chance I'll re-record!

Hey everyone, thanks for sticking with me! I just wanted to update you about a couple of things to try to keep you in the loop, as you all deserve it.
First off: sorry for not posting or replying as much on here this last week. I've had a massive deadline for a sponsored long video, and being ill at the start of the week meant that I was on a huge crunch to get it finished in time. Seriously, everything took about twice as long as I'd hoped, which meant I was working through the weekend...
