A Special Project -- a reflection on my father's life

This is something I felt compelled to create. I wanted to share it with you all first.

Since I pulled the video I shared with y'all, I am moving forward with this interview with The Joy of Romance. I really love this conversation and hope that you do too!

This one isn't getting posted publicly...

Sometimes I get partially through editing a video and think, "You know what... I don't like this one. It didn't do what I hoped." And then I scrap it. Sometimes I reshoot it and strive to make it better. Sometimes I just move on to other things. 

I cannot say if I will re-attempt this topic right now or not. I am rather distracted by the worsening condition of my father...so things are not easy for me atm.

Special Project for upcoming retreat...

As a special project for my upcoming retreat, I decided to do a sizable painting (35" by 18") of Ganesha (the remover of obstacles).

This took about three days, and I really love how it turned out!

I thought it would be interesting to share with you a work in progress. I’m curious to hear your thoughts, how different does the video feel when there’s no music added and when all of the visuals have not yet been incorporated?

I was also toying with sharing with you, the completely rough footage of how it looks coming straight out of the camera. Is that something that would be interesting?

I’ll post the final version tomorrow :-)
