I struggled to learn shaders. Mostly because I found them intimidating and I couldn't find any concise material that could explain what they were and how to start working with them without digging through hours of material.
BUT! I've slowly but surely gotten pretty good with them recently, and so I wanted to make this tutorial for anyone who wants to FINALLY learn...how to make shaders, where to start, what you need to know, etc.
I really hope you guys enjoy!

So if there was a theme to the updates over the last month...it was Upgrades!
So the ENTIRE way you received temporary updates was not only confusing...but also just didn't feel FUN. I felt myself getting increasingly frustrated whenever I playtested for a long time.
It was ENTIRELY luck based before, and more often then not you just NEVER seemed to get what you were looking for.
So now, while there are still some random elements, it's now a little more luck based.

It's been a while since my last shadergraph tutorial. This one is actually grabbed from a "best practices" project made by the Unity dev team, so I decided to make a tutorial on it and tweak just a few things to give us more control over the final result.
The end result will be a gorgeous fire VFX graph, with the fire effect coming directly from Shadergraph.
This will work in 2D, 3D, the VFX graph and the Particle System!

This is a pretty common setup, especially for top-down games: If you're using the mouse you want the camera to average betwween the mouse and the player, and if you're using the gamepad you just want the camera to center on the player.
