Amedea, Paris, 2018
JOMO stands for Joy Of Missing Out and it describes a feeling of joy when not being around social media, for example. Amedea turned off her mobile during the shoot with me and this was so rare and great that I just had to name this series JOMO.
We worked in an apartment in Paris which I had rented only for a couple of hours. It was close to the train station and I discovered a new district which was very nice.

I took these photos at a place called Loft 7. Nathalie and I clicked immediately. She was very shy, but eager to work. You can tell, if a girl likes to play in front of the camera or not. And she had a free mind. I absolutely enjoyed working with her.
So, here comes an out take of photos that never made it into my series "Horizontal Mambo", but which are at least 'second best', I'd say.

Viola, Ibiza, 2013
Former Playmate Viola showed me this beautiful location in Ibiza. There were no people, but all of a sudden, I saw a reflection of a man in the display of my camera. I turned around and there stood a full naked guy with a hard-on.
He approached Viola and asked if he could take part in our photo shoot. She laughed at him and I was so happy of her behavior, because some models would not have been brave enough to kick this guy's ass.
We had a laugh and...

I have photographed in this villa several times. When I went there with Rebecca, there was a beautiful lady at the reception who escorted me to the villa. She had curly hair and was very beautiful. I had the permission to do a nude shoot there and to my surprise she complimented me on my photos.

In 2013 I booked a shoot with Lisa and she showed me around Paris places that she liked. This was fun, because I usually don't shoot outdoors and also not in public. To my surprise, it is not allowed to use the word u*skirt on this platform. This feels very odd to me, because I definitely had permission to photograph Lisa this way and as always, I also do have a model release contract and everything is solid.

I did this shoot with former German Playmate Victoria in a beautiful lingerie salon called 'Petit Boudoir'. It was my go to place for lingerie back in the days and the location was just so nice. It really had a Berlin vibe which is quite rare for Frankfurt.

One of my earlier car shots with a note to self: You need a proper location for a car shoot. When inside a garage not only the people working there will distract your model, also the reflections in the windows will be in the way.
Anyways, it's most probably about boobs in these shots. The Ferrari is barely visible (no wonder, there were parts missing).

This was my very first real nude shoot. I had rented an apartment in an old building in Frankfurt for this and finally found a great woman who I could photograph with masks that I had bought in Barcelona. Yes, why Barcelona and not Venice?
I just walked by this shop there and was fascinated by the hand-made masks. It wasn't too long ago that I saw the movie Eyes Wide Shut and I guess that served as an inspiration.

In 2013 I traveled to Ibiza for the very first time. You don't have much time on a shoot and everything costs money. So I decided to book a location scout to be able to work as efficiently as possible.

Joy is a beautiful model from Brazil. The story of how I found her is a bit odd. A female model scout (or someone with a female name) from New York City wrote me that this model exists and sent me photos of her. So I contacted Joy directly. But Joy didn't even know this model scout and was skeptical at first. Anyone can come and say they want to photograph her naked, right?
