Bathtubs are out of fashion in hotels in this country. Kind of dumb. But I found an old hotel that still had one.
While Sylvia undressed, I quickly walked to the nearest pizzeria. I like stories that are a little crazy and Sylvia is the best anyway.

Sometimes it is difficult and circumstances are adverse. In this apartment the toilet lid was missing and there had been a fire a week before. The door had been kicked in by the fire department and the landlord's phone was not working. He was smoking pot in the apartment and somehow I still managed to make Anna look adorable and sassy.

I am super excited to announce a new art project with Sylvia which I am currently working on. I need to find a proper location for it which is more difficult than I thought. But I hope to be able to find one soon. The project is bigger than usual and I plan to have it finished December, 1st 2023.

Bewitched Dreams, Marlen, Frankfurt, 2013
Ten years ago, I was photographing with a Phase One Camera. This beast of gear was massive and I loved the sound of the shutter, but as it was so unhandy and had only three focus points (left, middle, right), it was my biggest misinvestment ever.
I am happy, I found another camera system and switched to Sony in 2015.
However, this shot of Marlen feels intense since today. I think I never shared this image before.

Shooting with two models is twice as complicated, believe me. I was lucky that both Chiara and Kitrysha are extremely good models and they matched. I bought the same sets of underwear for them, because I thought this was a nice idea and the villa in Milan was amazing, too. Is this too soft pornish?

I absolutely loved to work in this villa with Katia. Not only did I book super large hotel rooms for us, also there were only two other guests in the hotel at that time. Only the boss of the hotel managed to stand behind me every time I was shooting in the public area of the hotel. I was so scared every time he suddenly turned up behind me.

This little yappy French bulldog comes along to the shoot and when I greet him, I ask for his name. The doggie's name is exactly the same as mine! Simon.
At first he was a little suspicious because I was so close to his mistress. But after 5 minutes of barking he calmed down and slept (and snored) for two hours.
In the end he was allowed to be in front of the camera. These pictures are just a small introduction to model Avery, ...

For me, this shoot was not planned. I wanted to go out to the beach but this did not work out the way I had planned it. In Portugal there were families everywhere and absolutely no privacy. So, I photographed in the hotel room instead.

Sometimes things happen and you need some kind of solution. I was actually shooting Saya during the day, but my Profoto flash generator suddenly gave up.
I thought maybe it just needed to cool down and went out to dinner with Saya. Then it was already dark and the generator stayed dead.
So I had to work without much light, but Saya rocked it.
