My very first time on the island, traveling with a crazy model and staying at a shitty apartment. This trip was different, but you only can learn from mistakes. And I was able to try many shoot ideas that later formed me as a photographer. Experiencing something for the first time, definitely is special.

I remember that I photographed this set in a street with a very odd name in Frankfurt. It's called "Eiserne Hand" (Iron Hand). What kind of a street name is that, please?

It was winter and I had invited Agata to shoot a little party scene in a tiny apartment.

You might know these images from my latest photo book. But of course, there were more in the series. I fell in love with this odd bike. And so, I photographed the Australian model Sylphsia with it on the hottest day in Frankfurt.

Hanky Panky 4k

Brittany, Berlin, 2009

I took a trip to Berlin to photograph Brittany there. When I had seen her on modelmayhem, I knew immediately that I wanted to shoot with her. Thinking back to the shoot, I cannot help, but think of the moment, when my makeup artist said goodbye and her backpack was so heavy that she fell over on her back and lay there backwerds like a turtle on her shell. Some things, you cannot forget.

Natural High

A brunette with big boobs in Ibiza. What more of a setting do you need? When I rented the villa and asked my landlord if I could shoot there, his answer was: In Ibiza, we're all naked, absolutely no problem. What a cool guy!

Marvel of Nature 4k

Telling stories with images is what I like most. But coming up with things I haven't done before becomes more and more challenging. For this shoot, I found new props and carefully put them together to a photo series with warm and earthy tones.

Safari Amusement Park 4k

I saw great potential in Marcelina when I discovered her in 2019. So I photographed a small safari-themed series with her. I didn't like the shots that much myself. But I got an incredible amount of positive feedback from the USA. I still don't understand it today.

That's why I decided to get the old pictures out of the archive again and retouch them according to today's possibilities and show them in large format for the first time.

Elastic Enchantress

I photographed Terez for the first time with a horse on Fuerteventura for my photo book Sublime. We got on very well together and various other shoots followed.

When she bought my new photo book in February, I was so pleased because models don't usually show the same appreciation for photographers that I decided to book her for a shoot in return.

Now she's cracked the magic 30 mark, but let's be honest, with that athletic body, you wouldn't know it.

I have only had models from India in front of my lens three times. It really is a rarity. Pari had a secret desire to be photographed by me. She was introduced to me at a vernissage. It's never easy to work with shy women, but I think we managed it quite well.

I adore slim and sporty bodies. With Kary I sneaked into the Carl von Weinberg park in Frankfurt which kind of reminds me to the band from this late night show guy. Anyways, I am drifting away. I simply loved the atmosphere the park and playground has.

It was always my dream to photograph a series with a cool camper. When I got the opportunity to take photos with a 1976 Vogue, I was absolutely thrilled.

Medea, with silicone breasts, seemed to me to fit the American cliché. And that's how I went about it.

Marketa was this famous beauty. A gorgeous model that I first saw in a small booklet by Petter Hegre. The year was 2009 and somehow I was stuck in my creative process. I wasn't making any progress. That's when I decided to put my money where my mouth was and book a full-time professional model.

It took her a year to respond to my request, which was somehow not so professional, but I gained a lot of joy in photography through her and her gorgeous body still...

Calendar 2025

Each year I produce a photo calendar in a limited edition of 200 copies. This is the 16th edition and it will come out September 21st, 2024.

This set with a classical British Bombshell was photographed in a private shed, a men cave, in Leeds. Amy was the perfect match for this place.

Bavarian Badass, Part 1

For a few years now, the model has been writing to me regularly and begging me if we could take some photos. That's when I found out that she lives only 10 km away from my parents.

And so I did a little shoot - almost like a short vacation - in the area where I grew up. The nature was so refreshing and the 1995 Assi-BMW inspired the title.

Memory Making Moments

A small camping series with a tent by the lake. Something like that came to mind. But there weren't any nice lakes, so I rented an allotment from a very quirky guy. Paulina needed a bit of alcohol to loosen up, but then everything went smoothly and the shoot was so much fun. Even when we lit the campfire and she grilled some marshmallows.

Behind the Scenes Video: Cactus

From my shoot with Nicci in Tenerife, you can find a behind the scenes video here. We photographed after hiking around one hour into a field of cactus. From outside, you'd think, this is not a good photo spot, but being in between the cactus, it works out extremely well.

Sneak Preview Bonus 4K

Two months ago, she surprisingly became Playmate of the Month in Germany: Julia Zu. That reminded me of our beautiful shoot from 2018 for my photo book Sublime.

Back then, I rented a movie theater and photographed her with all kinds of motifs (from my work for the book) and patterns. So it was a very specific shoot, but an incredibly pretty, then tender 21-year-old woman.

I photographed a professional model at home for the first time in 2009: Marketa. She was an absolute star in the nude scene at the time. It took a whole year before she responded to my booking request. That's how sought-after (or overwhelmed) she was.

What can I say: it was an experience I will never forget. I was at the beginning of my photography career, she was a complete professional. That helped me a lot. And she is so beautiful.

My beloved little prism, which I lovingly worked on with a hammer, and me. We make a good team. And so I love distorting images in the camera. Maybe it gets boring at some point, but Tezz makes me feel so comfortable. She is a very spiritual and energetic person. So somehow everything just fell into place.

Forgotten Stars 4K

I'm not at all the type to take photos in lost places. They actually turn me off completely. But with this former giant telescope satellite dish thing, I just thought wow.

You can take good photos there even in the bright midday sun because there's always a nice shadow somewhere. And the construction workers next door enjoyed the view just as much as you hopefully do now.
P.S. I created the dreamy look by pulling a piece of tights over my lens.

An amazing location in my home town of Heidelberg. What does home mean? I was born and grew up there. Otherwise I don't really have any connection to it. But I took a trip there with Sophie.

The title of the picture comes from the feeling that Sophie radiates. Do you feel that too?

I'm a morning person and it's great for me to start a shoot early in the morning. However, I'm a bit alone in this. Not many models like to shoot in the morning.

Fortunately, it worked out wonderfully with Berryverri. Unfortunately, she was a little too thin, which she spoke openly about. The war and her escape from Ukraine took a lot out of her. But my styling, this strange blouse, looks fantastic on her. And she's just a great blonde! A wonderful woman....
