Been editing like crazy, there's at least 4 videos upcoming to YouTube, 2 of them are of the Garden variety, 2 are of the tropical persuasion! You'll recognize a few tidbits, but these are the polished gems of the camera reel! I have a massive 28 minute video that is basically all the things I can't publicize, and am currently working to see if uploading it to Patreon will take up my months data allotment... We've been home just about one week and it's hard to snap back in to reality. I can tell you that enjoying all that open space has had me purging our cluttered corners! Ive been clearing things out, and at the rate of one garbage bag per day, our Itty bitty house is looking like a tropical vacation pad 😊
Gonna keep rocking this vacation mood, no matter where I am
And 16 hours, we arrive home to no hot water!

We arrived on Sanibel Island today for the week that we booked almost 16 months ago. I called to get our front door security code and was told that there was no record of my reservation other than the one I made last year.

Several folks have asked what we ever saw on the trail cam. Surprisingly, it didn't capture as many boats going by as we thought it would, but the camera kept moving around during previous card pulls, and we couldn't figure out why until the most recent. Sneaky little raccoon being curious! I'm surprised, as tightly as the camera was bound to the fork in 2 large branches, that he or she was able to move it about so much.

lines are out and we leave tomorrow night!! Forecast is showing a lot of rain every day of our trip, but as I told Josh, that is South Florida in late summer/early fall. It rains every day, sometimes twice but usually not for long. It works out well for us, I may not get the tan I was after, but fishing is better under cloudy skies, and it'll be nice to not be frying in our kayaks.

We probly will still try to fish the river when we get back, we'll have a narrow window but it'll be worth it at peak season, especially if we can put more time into catching live bluegill. We always catch on live bluegill, but the time it takes plus everything else we have going on is a bitch.
