So here's a quick little self indulgent sketch I just had to get out of my head and down on paper in between working on Nessian. Halsins romance scene was quite something and the glow of his eyes was just chefs kiss. 10/10 will romance again.
update time! it's looking a lot better already, but still a ways to go.
i also just realised he's clothed in this scene. sadness. I might make him at least shirtless, because come on it'd be a crime to cover up those boobs. or more likely, I'll end up making several versions! We shall see.

yes, most of you guessed right - as usual. the sketch I posted earlier this week was Nessian of course.
Here's the sketch cleaned up! Bit more recogniseable now, yeah? Nesta is looking a bit wonky, but I've always found these half-behind angles to be challenging. It's of course far from finished, and I'll keep you guys updated on the process!

Yeah, so I fucked up. I should've known that Baldurs Gate 3 would take over my life and I BOUGHT IT ANYWAY. I am deep deep deep in my hyperfixation and I've been playing like 10 hours a day since I got it. I'm nearing the end of Act 3 and so now I'm just coping with the dread of it all being over soon, and art is therapy.
And
oh yeah, we're about to enter dangerous waters... aka the ugly stage. 80% of drawings has one, and this one is definitely falling into it.
I also decided to add some text - it can be a great tool to add some extra depth to a scene. hence why comics are so popular! I'm gonna try to get better at adding them to my spicy scenes.
and before you start worrying, Az will have a penis. it's just way easier to add them at the very end, hah
Suddenly very aware that shippers might assign too much meaning to who's touching the boobie and who's touching the coochie - rest assured it's not supposed to have a hidden meaning, it just looks very silly if they're both holding a boob or both holding the cooch, and this has the nicest compositional flow.

VERY NEARLY THERE.
No okay. actually there's a lot left to do - I'm relatively happy with the face, torso and arms, now there's just everything else left. Hair, jeans, under the jeans, the sofa, the rest of the hand, skin texture, the smoke, friggin TATTOOS and piercings (sounds super sexy - takes FOREVER), and some last minute details, and colour and value tweaks.
