Anyone else read The Serpent and The Wings of Night? You know I'm a sucker for drawing auburn hair and Raihn is no exception. Not to mention this was a pretty great scene.

They were part of the most recent Patreon Spicy Poll, and although they didn't win, my hands just had to get the idea out of my head and down on paper. Not sure if it'll ever become more than a sketch, so here it is!

Aznessian [WIP][NSFW]

Well well. We got faces! And wings! And hair! I'm throwing all my usual workflow out the window on this one, as it seems I've started shading already as well. (I would usually clean up the sketch, then add flats, then start with light and shadows). Let's hope this impulse won't come and bite me in the ass later.

We're also missing a couple of extremities, but I'll add them in later, don't worry.

So of course I got straight to work. Really rough sketch and one of the poor sods don't even have his wings yet. Let's call it a proof of concept! Partly inspired by this iconic image.





In the meantime I'm tucking away Nestas spitroast daydream safe and sound for another time.

Do you ever sit and daydream when you suddenly get this perfect image in your mind that's begging to be drawn?
I'm currently recovering from a wisdom tooth extraction that's kicking my ass with surprising fervor, and I'm not able to work. But I HAD to drag my ass to the tablet for 15 min to scribble this out. Its far from perfect, and I don't reckon I'll polish it any further, but at least its on paper now and I can go back to getting my ass kicked.

I'm not only working on hunky hunks for the Sinner tier nowadays.

I also have some commissions in my queue, including CC dust jackets for ATOMD and various illustrations for various authors. Looking forward to showing y'all the finished pieces! Hopefully sooner rather than later, but this damn wrist is kicking my ass still.

Well well. We got some colors. His face is still a bit wonky but we're officially out of the sketch stage. 

Now you know I'm all about that suspense, so I reckon the next update will be the finished result!!! I HOPE to finish it before the months end, but it all depends on this damn wrist.
