Been busy with the game stuff! UNFORTUNATELY, we aren't gonna have the demo done by tomorrow, but it's PRETTY DANG CLOSE. I've still got some animation to do, and Vixel's still got a bit of loose ends and things to add!

Vixel here!! :) I made this GIF while exploring layer effects for tree shadows, lightning bug glow, and darkness for when the player character carries a light source into a cave or the deeper woods.
If you look closely when the character walks into the tree shadows, his own shadow disappears and the tree shadows darken his sprite! Still fleshing this out, but it's a fun start. ^.^
