Hatching that one middle panel was hard. I didn't really know how much black I wanted so I probably ended up working backwards of how I should have - using the fine pen before breaking on the honking marker tip. And then of course I just went over it more digitally.
Other than that one panel I'm pleased with how this page turned out - Erin's expressions, the foam closing in, mixing the red and blue tones, inking in the sound effects... It'll be March when...

This page was surprisingly quick to pencil and ink. The hair normally adds a lot of time, maybe I finally got the hang of getting it done quickly? Just in time, too, since, spoiler, she's not going to last much longer.

A preview of what's to come after Panspermia chapter 1 ends, an 8-page Wacky Candy universe comic featuring fantastical fattening and gleeful gluttony! Basically as far as I can get from the tone of Panspermia, haha.

The most I remember of the process for this was that I had to redraw the first panel a few times just to get the size and positions right. Being able to freely transform digital art is great but no such luxury when working traditionally.

Not much to say for the process of this one. Drawing it went smoothly but actually getting a layout I liked was tough. I worry I may be starting too big for what's supposed to be more realistic-ish but future bellies are a problem for future me.
