I like artwork with rough draft lines, a style often done by an artist named loish, and it's still good.
I have been studying the use of overlay layers to adjust light and color since around September poll art and have been experimenting with them in recent artwork.
I think it looks more vivid and easier to see than before while still being light and dark. At least I feel it is a new step up.

I liked the rough brushstrokes in the first rough sketch, so I dared to leave them as they were.
I like the touch of the brushstrokes, and by separating the rough and detailed areas, I can guide the viewer's eye, and the detailed color changes add interest to the screen.
I sometimes draw in a similar way to this, but it is still fun because I can work intuitively.

I drew the character Chancellor Neighsay from Little My Pony as close to the realistic anatomy as possible, but I'm not sure if I should keep it closer to the original visuals to make Little My Pony more appealing. Of course, that preference would depend on the viewer and the work.
