life motivation: omi background angst!!!!! i hope the flow of the story makes sense and that it was clear that omi was too out of it to really bond with nao at the start! once things went south with atsumu, he sort of lost himself and saw nao as a big unknown factor of what he fears and is alienated from - fatherhood.
however, the moment nao opens his eyes to reveal the honey amber pools that is so identical to tsumu’s, that brings omi back down to earth and gives him the last ...
starting with a blank canvas is really tough but i like to keep layering on retrials in attempt to break through artblocks so u can see how really badly it starts adgwhfwkfsk :”’”’)) sometimes tolerance pays off as your mind starts being able to focus on small improvements than obsessing over a good start!

CHOO CHOO WE HATH ARRIVED AT ANGSTVILLE i just really like the hc that omi grew up unhappily with estranged parents !!! estranged siblings !!! lonely child…. never knew a father’s love, and so fatherhood to him was something so alien and so anxiety inducing but atsu was a natural with kids. he gave him the confidence that everything will go well as long as they’re together - until it didn’t.

DONT STOP FLIPPING YOUR CANVAS HORIZONTALLY. i have a horrible habit of using my left brain too much that my bodies alway turn out really distorted and it’s embarrassing but still a very key lesson to share! keep flipping your canvas back and forth to even out the angles and to keep it from looking too flat/diagonal, and use references if youre stuck in a rut and can’t figure out why it looks so weird still
