proto pool party

this is from months back, far before I did the actual pool party/chicken pic I posted recently. had the idea for a while to do this and I think I just never felt up to the challenge of doing a huge group pic, but it didn't stop me from attempting. originally, there was a point where I just wanted to do kody and chip and some vague background silhouettes just to show them interacting as a pair. I also so rarely draw collie chip... though I think he's cute, human chip is just such a dream.

man, walter has to be one of my hottest dads. if you're fond of guys that are a little intimidating. much like barry, it'd been a good while since I'd drawn this stud, and I finally got around to it recently and results were rather satisfactory! and also much like barry, looking back on the old pics from a couple years ago, I cringed.

what started as a pic I wanted to do for "national nude day" turned into a really whimsical magic piece... honestly, I was just having fun here. you can kinda tell I was playing it by ear, but it's good to go easy and let your imagination just have its fun from time to time. there is a little continuity to this even since I've drawn myself int he top hat before!

this one is so innocent, not even any full bare butt or genitals... even nipples! so I'm just letting all yall enjoy this one....

summer boys #2

yet another labor of love pic. this is definitely one of my most involved large scale group pics, though it is apparently not the one with the most characters. it feels like it though, this took so much time... three separate days of several hour long streams each. I'd say overall this took me a combined time of 18 hours? somewhere around there, I might be overestimating. anyway I feel accomplished!!!

cerberus jacket

I have this obsession with letterman jackets. well, I think they're cute, obsession is a bit strong. but look how cool this one is!! I've really flip flopped on designing these and I'll probably even end up tweaking it a little further down the road but I do really like what came out of it here, particularly the little cerberus emblem. chip, being team captain, was my prime choice to model this look and I do think he wears it really well.

fox helper

my first time showing off human adrian... he is becoming a fast favorite!! I've talked before about how carper helps out at a raccoon sanctuary, I figured I'd do something similar for adrian. normally he's pretty naughty, kinda hard to tame, follows his own path... he's really a good dude but he's not a galaxy brained athlete or anything like chip. but he is pretty dedicated to the fox sanctuary. loves coming in to volunteer and spend time with the foxes.

another collection of scrapped doodles, sketches, etc. I like all of these really, nice tre butt here too. this whole thing of drawing maxie with martens has been a long running idea of mine that I've just never been able to flesh out properly. I do think he's used to handling them canonically though.

drawing tre's grandpa, troy, is a lot of fun. I like drawing his gray chest fur and his even grayer muzzle. even at his age he's still a big beefy dire wolf and he loves to build stuff - something inherited from his own dad. if trent is around he'll usually offer to lend a hand, though troy likes to do as much as he can on his own.
