Pausing Donations

Hi,

I've decided to pause donations for Virtually Naked. Lately the time I have available for this project has been limited and I don't see that changing in the immediate future. I do plan to keep working on Virtually Naked when I have a spare moment so you'll continue to see new versions from time to time but they'll be coming at a slower rate.

Virtually Naked 0.9

Virtually Naked 0.9 is complete!

Changes:

  • Major: Added new characters Aiko and Karen.
  • Major: Added new shape-only characters Lien, Soraya, Phoenix and Halina. These characters reuse the skins from the Mei Lin, Rune, Monique and Kalea characters respectively. To keep things simple, I've hidden the latter characters from the "Characters" menu, but they can still be found under the "Mix & Match" menu.

Virtually Naked 0.8

Virtually Naked 0.8 is done!

Changelog:

  • Major: Added eye color and makeup options to menu under "Characters/Character Details"
  • Minor: Added a scale control to the menu under "Shaping/Full Body/Scale"

Early Preview of v0.7

Hi everyone,

I wanted to show off the initial progress on clothing for v0.7 so I put together an alpha build for you guys to check out.

There's still quite a lot of work to do: rendering bugs, UI refinements, performance optimizations; but this should give you a general idea of what's coming in 0.7.

Virtually Naked 0.6

Virtually Naked 0.6 is here! The key features of this release are improved "responsiveness" and "naturalness" of the posing system:

  • "Responsiveness" means that the actor now tracks the movements of your controller immediately. Also hands and feet now track the orientation of the controllers for detailed posing. And you can now use both controllers simultaneously.

February Status Update

Unfortunately, work on the "posing" feature is going slower than I anticipated so the next version of Virtually Naked won't be ready for February like I'd hoped. For now, I've decided to pause the project pledges until I have some visible progress to show (so no patrons will be charged on March 1).

Patreon announced they holding off on the fee changes until they've got a better solution for $1/$2 pledges. So I'm unpausing pledge processing (meaning that if you've made a pledge, you will get charged like normal at the end of the month). Update: Patreon decided not to go through with the fee changes. So the pledges are unpaused. See my next post for details.

Yesterday, Patreon announced a change to the way they handle transaction fees. The change is most significant for $1 pledges, which will now see 40% of each pledge going to fees.
