This was a super busy month

Spent a lot of time drawing actually

A finished drawing only tells part of the story

Lots of ideas changing half way through can lead to more cohesive art but it comes at the cost of time spent on ideas that dont contribute to the finished product

Year of the Rabbit

I originally sketched out a new years pic of Isabelle

Then I looked up the Chinese Zodiac out of curiousity and saw that 2023 was the year of the Bunny

I temporarily sketched over Isabelle and made it into Sasha but I didnt like it as much and was running out of time

So instead of just going back to Isabelle I not only did that but I drew Sasha from scratch and decided on this composition where Isabelle is too excited and is stealing Sasha's thunder lol

The recording for the turkey turned penguin ends early because at that point I was frustrated and wanted to scrap the drawing entirely. It wasnt until a day or two later that I tried to salvage it and got it to what it is now lol.

I need much more practice with zootopia otters

I like my sketch style and I want to do more

Title is pretty self explanatory

I think it will help me overall to not focus so much on trying to have a set amount of properly 'finished' drawings within a month and instead explore ideas more naturally and let the stonger more inspired images get the ink and color treatment

I could also field you all for input before I ink and color? I dunno! Just thinking out loud here. Either way I hope you enjoy my sketch style lol~

I dont actually like Turkey OCs so I googled different types of turkeys to see how I can make it look more appealing

I learned about the ocellated turkey and they look fucking awesome

Any way I tried to simplify it felt half assed and I tried to feel a few things out and I came to the realization that it would take 4-6 times as long so I had to make a decision to repurpose the figure art or...
