Hello everyone! This week is all about fun fantasy worlds.

You voted on Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Amongst Thieves!! I'm continuing with Loki S2, which has been such a joy. And, I'm so excited to watch Puss In Boots!!

After watching all of the previous Shrek movies, it will be fun to jump back into this fairytale world and catch up with the cutest and deadliest cat known to animation.

Despite this movie being about survival, there was something delightfully funny and comforting about this film. Matt Damon did a phenomenal job as Mark. I was surprised to see half of Hollywood in this film!

Are you ready to go on a time traveling hot tub adventure...again?! While I enjoyed the first one more, this was actually a really lovely follow up to the first film. The last 15 minutes of this film could have been an entire plot for another movie!

(YT Early Access) Ted Lasso S2 E3

This episode is really where we start to see Sam shine. It's also nice to see Jamie back on the team. As I revisit this show for the YT edits, I'm reminded by how often I expect conflict and worst case scenarios to unfold in the plot. Yet, the people in this world reward kindness, forgive easily, and are just incredible people. It's such a lovely world to be in.

HOLY MOTHER OF THE HULK! What a season finale! Even though I talked for like 20 minutes at the end, I still don't think I wrapped up all of my thoughts about this show.

The ending was intentionally evocative and now that I've had a smidge more time to process how I feel, I really loved it. It's funny because even though Mark is the main character, I like most of the other characters more than him.

The After Hours

There were two scenes in this episode that really shined. The first was between Burt and Irving. The second was between Mr. Drummond and Milchick! It was very rewarding to see.

Considering how much they are developing Milchick's character, I'd love to see him evolve past his loyalty to Lumen and join team Macrodata Refinement Rebellion!

This movie was so much more intense than I was expecting! The animation is gorgeous, and the music is truly beautiful, with the song Out There being my favorite. Quasimodo is so kind despite his horrifically difficult life! What a wonderfully inspiring character. His passion for life is contagious.

It was nice to see a cameo from Rick Mason! I didn't remember his name but I knew he helped Nat out a while back. I love how the MCU puts those little details into their projects.

(YT Early Access) Dumbo

Dumbo is a tender, heartfelt story that highlights the struggles of being different, the power of hope, and the importance of friendship. Dumbo’s journey reminds me a little of Shrek’s since they both deal with societal beauty standards and the message that what makes you different can be your strength.

I was also pleasantly surprised to see my favorite ride at Disneyland portrayed in this film! What’s your favorite ride at Disneyland?

This over the top comedy is such a feel good film. Bill and Ted are on the verge of failing their history exam, but are helped by a time traveling phone booth. They go on an incredible adventure that will change the future of the universe!

What makes this movie even better is that it stars sheep! It still brings me endless joy whenever I see sheep in a movie.

This Week!
