Thanks to Mikoto, I was able to work on this cover with the actual band in the back tracking.
Evetually there will be a version with Alexej Cello on YouTube for a more "classical" feel.

It took me so long to think about what I wanted to talk about in regards to the style I was hearing, but after a while it clicked!
This is super cool because it sounds like 80's hair metal with a new age twist. If you were a fan of hair metal bands growing up or found joy in them at some point in your life like I did, then you will enjoy this song/group!

I finally remembered what song I reacted to a LONG time ago. It was "Voltage."
That being said, this isn't the older TRiDENT I remember.
Given the context of the video, this seems like a big change for them in style and I really enjoy what they have going on.

My face when I first heard what Kanami was doing a the beginning of this was pure gold. She never ceases to amaze me. I wish I had Kanami's compositional talents. Composing is not simple. It takes a certain kind of brain and Kanami has that and MORE!

If you liked Lawrence then you're gonna like this one too.
I will say that this is more low key than Lawrence, but there is room for the chill here and this one is more of what I think is considered a groovy kind of rock.
The vocalist has a tone to her voice that reminded me of Amy Winehouse which was really cool. The ensemble was a cool experience watching how they accomanied the singer with their instruments as well as their voices.

I am really liking the different side of BAND-MAID.
I know it may sound odd saying that this is a different type of MAID. I know it's them, but the style of music that I have covered last Sunday and now this Sunday feel so different. It seems more light hearted and poppy, but the good kind of poppy.
I honestly feel like I have taken a walk through a beautiful scenic forest with the best kind of air.

Hold on. I have to go grab my dice for DnD.
I plan on adding this one to the Dungeons and Dragons playlist asap. The song took me to another place, but then again, I have a real wild imagination!
I hope you love the mixture of traditional instruments mixed with some electronic back tracking here and there. I thought it was absolutely lovely. I felt like I was soaring.

I wouldn't call this brain damage per say...
I know it's just the name of the song, but all jokes aside, THIS IS GREAT! The sound is amazing! The start in triplets and the empahsis on beats 1, 2 , 3, and 4 made this more and more interesting. Also, the crunchiness of the bass line along with the guitar parts? It felt like it was more like a sound effect, but it has to be intentional and I love me some intentional dissonance!

I didn't think I would hear surfer rock from a Korean rock band. It's much cooler than how I am making it sound, but it's a good time!
I will say there is a crazy amount of distortion on the voice that can get a little overwhelming, but given the topic of the song, I think it's appropriate in this case.

Any opportunity to listen to and react to Tokyo Jihen is a great day to be alive. Add ADO into that cocktail and I have an amazing musical drink!
This was a fun reaction. I had no idea that ADO did a cover of "Crime and Punishment." Since ADO's voice has many abilities to morph and change, this was a perfect song for her to perform. I loved her version.
