Oh my god summer is still there !! Now that holidays are finished for most of us, the sun is being present almost all day with temperature we didn't even reach during June and July.🤨
It's like summer has been one month late.
Anyway here is day 14. We went to the Mont Saint Michel because Sam and Yann ( the guy with the cropped hair) had never been there. Since I don't live very far, I've been numerous times. I used to cross the Bay from the shore to the Mont Saint Michel by foot when I was still able to. ( it's a 4 hours round trip and most of it is by walking in the sand and water).
It was a bit too crowded so we didn't stay long. Perhaps have you been too the Mont saint Michel ?
Then we went to the closest beach, and there was... no water XD. The tide was so low that we almost couldn't see the surface of the sea XD. A perfect place for the sand yatchs.
As of today, I'm still being stuck in the middle of a ME crash/ flare up. I need to be patient. I overdid myself for several days in a row so it's no wonder. 🤷♀️
Oh my! I'm so exhausted I almost forgot I needed to finish these posts ! My body is making me pay full price. I'm so drained than even going to the park near my home ( 200 m) asks me too much energy. Well, I should have seen it coming since I could feel my strengths lowering on day 13 and 14 and I didn't take a single moment to rest. It's what we call a EM crash. (Some people are new here so for them to know why I'm whining all the time : I have a diagnostic of Myalgic Encephalomyelitis , fibromyalgia (and my doctor thinks it's been caused by Lyme disease)
On day 13 we woke up early ( eeeeerrhhh) and went to a place called ; La gacilly. It's a place where you can find art exhibition and it's also the place where you can find the main House of the Yves Rocher cosmetic compagny. ( there is an Yves Rocher museum you can visit but we didn't go since they as fot the "pass sanitaire" blablabla...)
Headache was with me nonstop but I managed to look totally fine this time^^.
After la Gacilly we went to Broceliande. I was very disapointed because the places to visit were almost all devastated by the tourists... I didn't take any photo since it looked so sad....Even the millenary tree where I took some Tinkerbell pictures 6 years ago had died...
We tried to remove Arthur (fake) sword from the stone, we all failed but I believe I was the most convincing XD

I should have posted yesterday evening but I was so tired that I postponed. My body is making me pay the fun I had during two weeks.
Oh! Something I forgot to explain on the previous post : I was supposed to go home on day 10 but what I hadn't planned is that they were asking for that awful" pass sanitaire " to board a local train. Since I don't have that thing (I don't even want to say the name a second time) , I was stuck at my friend's. XD Aurelien, Sam's husband suggested we go together to my home with their car and then that we enjoy some more visits while they are at my home. We all agreed and so I stayed a couple days more waiting for the week end to come :)
Day 11: I went with my bike to a beach located further away than the first one. I wanted to test my strengths and energy levels. I came upon a bridge and had to stop at the beginning, it was too difficult for me to climb so I walked with the bike to my sides. It was very windy and cars were very close. I wasn't feeling at ease but I recorded a video. (sorry no voice over ^^,,,) ,As I was running o cars and other bikes passed me, even a granny and a grandpa overtook my bike XD. I was stuck with an headache so it was harder to smile for the pictures.
When I got home I was exhausted but happy I could go that far all by myself ! And I also got an allergic rash to the sun XD
On day 12 I went back with Sam to the same spot. I was very tired so sam's car as welcomed ^^. It was a bit cloudy but the weather was warm. In the water however, even though it was also warm, the ground was all muddy, slippery and covered with algae . It was like some monsters was trying to grab your toes XD
I even fell over but Sam wasn't filming at that very moment . The same dog was also on the same spot .
Then we went back to Sam't house, picked her husband who had just finished working and their friend who we invited to join us and we all departed on time .
Hello There! Hope you don't get too tired of my holidays pics (as soon as they are all published, I'll post my Bulma shoot) and I'm also going to answer all the questions you asked me on a previous post ! (I'm not forgetting, don't worry ;) )
Day 10 ! I went back to the sea shore on my bike and took advantage of being all by myself on the beach to do a small photoshoot :) ( I also found sunglasses in the sand XD)
I wanted to select and upload day 11 pics too but I'm so exhausted today that even staying up is difficult (It's one of those days) so I'll post day 11 tomorrow.
The weather has been fantastic for 10 days here ! At last ! I thought summer would never come ( even if it's just for 2 weeks). And here it is :)))
I didn't get much time to post since our schedule is full and when we get back home I 'm too tired to do anything! ^^,,,
So here is the next part of my holidays pictures with a small recap:
Day 7 : Full rest mode ! The bike strained my body the previous days so I needed some time to recover. we went in a local market in a farm and my friends played music. I stayed in a deckchair most of the time and played with the kitten and other animals of the farm^^.
Day 8 : Back to the playa ! With my friends and a friend of them we went together to spend a few hours in the sun and in the water. I cut my foot the day before and forget to put a band aid on the cut so I improvised a bandage . We had a lot of fun
Day 9: super tired and a never ending headache. We went back to the beach but I stayed on the sand . The landscape and the sunset was beautiful.
I hope you are doing okay and that things are getting better for you ( not really the case here).
I've been absent from Patreon these couple past weeks because I've been finally enjoying some holydays. And once again, sun has been showing up as soon as I reached the seashore XD^^.
My friend Sam's factory ( instagram) came to my home 2 weeks ago, we did a cosplay photoshoot (I'll show you after I'm finished posting my previous Bulma photoshoot ). And then I went with her to her home.
So I thought : Why not sharing the pictures with you ? :)
My friend Sam lives with her husband next to the ocean so we have been enjoying the beach almost every day. The three of us are not taking part of this thing called "pass sanitaire" in France so we are not allowed to go to the restaurant, cinema, big shops, festivals etc etc... but I've never felt as free as we are now. Going on the beach doesn't require this awful pass, neither sharing food at home with friends or going on a stroll requires this thing you understand I'm not fond of. So I'm actually quite happy doing all these free activities :) I'm also actually thinking about moving next to my friends. My mom is interested too. We will see how things go.
Here is a recap of the first 5 days so you get a better understanding of the pictures:
-On the first day we stopped by another cosplay friend who has just moved in the same region I live in. Clemy also lives next to the ocean. (I hope I'm next). I took some pictures of the boats and the port but when we decided to head back to her place, my legs stopped working so what should have been a 10 min walk suddenly became a one hour trip and my friends had to carry me until we reached home. XD
-On the 2nd day we were back on the road and luckily we weren't sightseeing anything because I was in so much pain that I couldn't do anything at all except trying to sleep to ease the pain. (that's why I'm not smiling on the pics I took in the car). -On the 3rd day, we finally went to the beach and we met with Sam's family in law. Since sun has been totally absent from my area since the start of the year, I'm almost translucid and my skin is so white it could make you blind XD. - On the 4rth day I went by myself to the beach near their home because Sam and her husband needed some time alone to do a rehearsal for the next day where they would have a small performance in a local market . (They sing and play music). And for the first time in 5 years, I got on a bicycle !! 5 years ago, when I was bedridden , I was dreaming of the day I would be able to get on a bike again. That day has come ! It was just a 10 minutes ride on a flat road but I was so happy my smile reached my ears! One thing for sure, you don't forget how to ride a bike :). My legs were all wobbly when I got back and I slept like a baby that night :)))) !

Just so you can compare, here are a pic from the last time I wore this cosplay ( more than 10 years ago XD). I did not modify the costume that much but the small touches I brought make a drastic difference I believe. What do you think ?
Hello my dear Patrons ! I hope you are doing fine and that you are enjoying your holidays (at least for those of you who are on holidays)
I hope everyone is having peaceful sunny days and that you are enjoying the beauty of our planet despite the world going crazy.
As for myself, I came back from my 4 days holidays with my friend Sam and the day after I got back, sun was gone XD. I've been also experiencing stronger symptoms again but it is true that lately I didn't give my body enough rest for some reasons and I'm also very very stressed by the fact I won't be able to go the hospital as much as I did before. ( besides the fact that our town hospital is shutting down their ER services )
Anyway, I have been planning 2 photo shoots during this month of August so I hope I'll be able to honor them.
Today as I have not been able to leave my bed (I strained my body too much yesterday) I'm taking advantage of this fact to post the second part of my last Tink photo shoot.

Yeay for bananas ! too bad I won't be able to eat them for some times, they indeed triggered a flare up in my allergies symptoms ( along with dates and chocolate which I've been used to eat daily , sigh !)

I believe nothing makes me more happy than being on the sea shore with friends or family. It even made me stop thinking about the craziness around us. You can see it on the pictures : true happy smile there ^^.
After almost 9 months in a row without sun (expect a couple days here and there) , we got a full week of sunny days coinciding exactly to the week my health issues decided to take a break and leave my alone ^^. Or maybe it's because it was sunny that my health kept quiet ?
Now that I'm back home, it's raining every day XDDD.
I'm still not over the "originality "of that swimsuit XDD. I love Usagi because shame is not part of her vocabulary and.... I'm the same . My friend Sam same kept telling me I'm like a child who do whatever they think is funny ( without harming anyone of course) I don't care about what others think of me and sometimes, the others around me want to bury themselves because of me and my silliness 😆😆😆😆.
But I know that deep inside them, they wish they could be as free as I am in my mind ;).
Oh! If I had known when I was a teenager than decades later I would still buy 14-15 years old clothing 😅.
I finally could go visit my friend Sam Chan , it was planned since May but each time I tried, my health would stop me from going. And since it's probably one of the last time I can walk this country as a free citizen, I wanted to enjoy my friends, the sea and the air at the maximum...
So I spent 4 days with them and it gave me so much energy. We decided at the last moment to improvise a Sailor Moon cosplay. I went to a shop called decathlon and found a swimsuit for children for 5 Euros which I cut and modified , I sewed several bows and voilà ! 😅.
I know, I know.... it's a very beautiful and sexy costume XD 😅
To give you the context; Usagi , in an episode of Sailor Moon , decides she wants to participate to a beauty pageant contest but her swimsuit is full of moth holes so she adds yellow bows on it at the last minute to hide the holes 🤣:
More photos soon. I've been back home accompanied by very bad news for my country and I'm also having a flare up of my illness (well after giggling for hours in the sun , it's no wonder ^^;;) so I need some rest before I make a new post .
Here it is the unsatisfying photoshoot I told you about. I'm going to post everything no matter what I think of it ( I already have ordered a new background to redo the whole thing !)
Why am I not satisfied at all with this photoshoot ?
First, my background image appears to be a bad choice^^,,, It was not wide enough so I had to extend it with Photoshop (and it takes time). As it was a pale pink, nothing looked the way I wanted once the light were on. Everything turned pink / red once I was in the frame. I was aiming for something bright and joyful like on the Tinkerbell movies but with pink as a background choice and my skin being close in tone, I couldn't do it.
Blue looked nice though but too gloomy. In the movies, the settings are green because it's mainly a forest.
I really missed the point here XD,,,
Secondly, I added a layer of tulle ahead of the background, I thought it would help blend the cropped sides with the rest of the picture but in reality, I kept getting stuck in it with my wings XD. I tried to change my lighting settings (I did them when I wasn't wearing my costume ) but with the costume on, I kept getting tangled in the tulle and knocking the false plants I had made to add depth to the scenery. It kept falling over the place whenever I moved. I had very little energy and this alone almost got me blow a fuse XD.
So I ended up working with lights I couldn't modify and had very little space to move. With the timer of my camera being of ten seconds, I let you think of the scene: me running to pose on the right spot without making anything fall or staying stuck like a fly in a spider's web. ( it happened so many times XDD).
The plants kept adding ugly shadows on my face and whenever I tried to put them behind me, it kept getting tangled in the tulle or falling because of my wings XDDD. I added lights in front of me so I wouldn't end with dark spots on my face because of the plants shadow. And since I couldn't see myself, there were no possibility for me to check if I was in the right place and in the frame of the picture before pushing the timer button.
The result of this mess is for most of it : blurry pictures, same angles and composition, a flat look on almost all pictures because of too strong lights and my wings being cropped on every photos ( I had to Photoshop the missing parts) and also wrinkled costume because I had no time to make it smooth and arranged in the 10 seconds of timer I had . XD,,,
Lesson to be learned: doing a photoshoot alone while wearing wings in a messy background, doesn't work XD !!!
And I'll have to buy a mirror to put in front of me to check in real time what I'm doing.

Hello my dear Patrons. While I'm editing my Tinkerbell pics, I was thinking about my next costumes.
It's already too late for the idea that was suggested to me a while ago so I guess this costume will be for next year: a 14 of July version of Tinkerbell ( 14 of July is our national celebration). Of course my body decided otherwise ( I would have made it during those past couple months if I hadn't been stuck in my bed) so I'll have to start early if I want it to be finished by July of next year .
In the meanwhile, I have another idea in mind and I think I'll start working on it as soon as I finish my editing.

Since I love beads and crafty tribal styled costumes and the fact I have been keeping several pieces of leather I found in an abandoned warehouse in Romania several years ago, I think I'm gonna head for this exact costume. I also like her previous outfits when she has longer hair but I really dig the ones that look more like the amazon she is.
With the hair piece it's even more impressive ( Tiger lily reminiscences ^^)But I don't think I'm gonna make it. (we'll see)
Xena is one of my favorite show I used to watch in the 90s. The show is actually loaded with fun situations, puns, strong sexy women ( Lucy lawless is so hot!!), sexy men ( except for Joxer but I love him a lot too) friendship, love and lots of battles and adventures. Okay, the special effects are terrible but aside from this, the show is brilliant, I still love it tremendously .
I could sing you " Sister's are doing it "or" Gettin' Ready" ! all day ! XDDD (one the musicals episodes for those who don't know)
I did a cosplay of Gabrielle in my first years of cosplay but I never actually wore it as a "Gabrielle" costume.
It had so much work on it, too bad I threw it away because it was a bit damaged but today I would have loved to make a Photoshop with it.

At the time, I don't know why, I wasn't bold enough to wear that costume alone since and didn't have a Xena to be accompanied with so I kept it in my closet until the day where I customized it and wore it for a little show with a dear friend of mine.

There is a lot Gabrielle costumes I'd like to do someday ( even Xena but I would be a ridiculous Xena XD).
Anyway, this will be different a very different project . It will change from my last "cute" costumes :"3 And since I'm in a warrior mood to fight evil in my mind , it's perfect XD.
Finally it's done. Don't know when I'm going to have enough energy to do a photoshoot though since my body is once again so heavy and painful, well you know the song.

Sorry , lately my health has been like roller coaster with lots of stress.
The excruciating pain I had in my lower back and my uterus was, after one month and a half looking for a solution, an IMR, several blood tests, two antibiotics courses, and 2 ultrasounds later: a strong intolerance to my daily vitamin C supplement (yes !! how is that even possible?? ) .....🙄
I'm so fed up with these allergies and intolerances.. Since my allergies have become dangerous now, since I react to almost everything, I'll have an appointment with the hospital end of July to check all my medication allergies and intolerances.
And then, right after the pain in the uterus stopped, I injuried myself in the neck while stretching >< ( got the facial and trijumeau nerve pinched and a couple vertebrae displaced , I don't know if it is the right vocabulary ? ) I couldn't even open my left eye for a full week and my whole left side was numb . So now I've been having headaches, paresthesias and accouphens everyday for 3 weeks and on top of the ice cake my body is reacting to the sun with stronger muscles pain, fever and fatigue ( you know that fatigue I had before where I couldnt even lift my own body ><) .
In 2020, I didn't have that reaction anymore. I thought it was behind me forever. But it looks like it's back .
It sounds like I'm complaining, I'm sorry. I'm not, really. ^^ I just want you to know why I haven't posted for nearly 2 months . I believe I owe you an explanation.
I guess you have now, after a few years with me, a full understanding of what chronic illness is ^^,,,,
So , since the pain in my lower body is gone , I can finally stand up and I decided to go back doing a daily meditation, since it helped me a lot, back in 2019. And I'm also trying to get back at working a little bit each day on my Tink costume.
I don't have cosplay related stuff to show you yet so here are some pics of me just being me when I'm at the park right next to my home for a daily meditation and 3 pictures of my cartoon self.^^ ( which are made with the app called Voilaaiartist)
I have not much to show you again since I'm being stuck in bed most of the time. The pain in my lower abdomen and back is atrocious. I got antibiotics which didn't do anything. My regular doctor doesn't care , the hospital doesn't care... and my lyme doctor thinks I have an inflammatory vascular problem or/and an endometriosis flare up in my abdomen. I'm waiting for a MRI and and an Echo doppler (don't know the name in english ) to know which it is.
In the meanwhile I cant take any painkiller since I'm allergic to ALL of them...><
At times like this I really find my life is shit. But then I remember nothing lasts forever and some people are going through much worse than I am. At least I have my mom and my cat to look after me. ( Pitchoune is also being a little bit sick again )
I'm really grateful to be alive each passing day though. Living each day like it could be the last is a beautiful philosophy. ( It doesn't mean to live it doing stupid things )
I have not been posting anything for sometimes and I'm sorry. These past 3 weeks have been particularly tough. I have been in bed most of the time and I'm actually recovering at my mom's house because I couldnt do much by myself. I have been on a new round of 14 days of antibiotics for a very painful bacterial infection in my abdomen ( they don't know why it's so painful though ( again...) ) and I hope the infection is not resisting to the antibiotics since I'm already on the 6th day and I see just a tiny improvement. Looks like my body has weakened again and that I'm developing opportunistic infections without doing anything TT.... So since I have bought a tablet to draw in my bed I have been able to sketch and color some works. At least ! Because before, when I in a bad shape and stuck in bed, I couldn't produce anything and spent my days looking at my phone and watching series . Times run faster when I'm able to draw in my bed ^^.
So this is a selfportrait of my current spirit of mind. You might no like it but maybe you'll find watching the work in progress interesting. I also bought clip studio paint and It was my first time using it. There is a timelapse recording option !!! Why photoshop doesn't have it yet, I wonder?

This is the last part of all the photoshoots I have done lately and and now I need to finish my current Tinkerbell costume and make that Bulma shoot I have been planning and talking to you since 2020.
I'm so fed up with that constant physical pain and fever which stop me from doing all the photoshoots I would like to do. I hope it's gonna improve soon because it's very exhausting and I want to show you new stuff !
I have been watching Dai no Daibouken reboot on crunchyroll and I got the idea to draw the characters as they were when I a watching the show when I was a kid and how they would look like today . I know this is not cosplay but since i'm not in the right physical shape to put a costume and take pictures, maybe I can show you this instead.

Here is the photoshoot I did with a Yukata that was gifted to me by an adorable follower . it' s been two years since she has offered me this yukata, I hope she will see on instagram that I finally wore her gift. I though this would suit Miki Hoshii Character so I made the makeup and accessories according to her personality .
I also did a transition video from her casual outfit to the Yukata outfit ( which is on instagram) I'm posting it again here in better quality without sound (or should I say that awfull music I found on Instagram XD) plus some videos test I did before deciding the final result ^^ You'll find them in the download section below.
This past week I spent a few days near the sea with my mom, it was my birthday present and I should say it's one of the best birthday gift I could receive. I needed so much to go out my town and breath the fresh air. It made me forget for some days the endless curfews and lockdowns and stupid laws and decisions of our politics. The first 3 days, I couldn't walk very far so I took my electric scooter and went exploring the beautiful beaches. I was very sunny and I found my smile back. I haven't been smiling like this since the past summer.! It was even difficult to smile during the first couple days^^,, I still can't walk long but my mood has improved a lot. I feel so much happier ! I aso did some drawing on my new tablet and i'm really glad I decided to buy one, it is so easier and less tiring to draw on it :) .
So i don't have much to show you cosplay related but I still can share my smile :)

I'm sorry for being quiet . I tried to do a weekly video but my physical condition doesn't allow me do to it like I wanted to. So many of my symptoms are back but I'll not enumerate them since most of you know what my health background is. The disastrous handling of the crisis in France ( and in some other European countries ) that I believe has much more to see with politics than handling a virus is really playing a role on my health status. I also know that, depends on your location, the situation is more or less super tough for you too.
As you may know, we're still under endless curfews and lock downs so it's probably not during 2021 that we will be able to get back to a relatively normal life. Well, at least , I'll have lot's of new prints material for conventions if someday we have the chance to have conventions again. 😏
I haven't made much progress on my next Tink cosplay but since I couldn't let myself doing nothing , I have been drawing a little bit more than usual even though not many people are interested in my drawings.😅;;;; At least when I'm not able to cosplay, I can draw a little bit. I remember a time where I couldn't do either of them! :) I finally bought a tablet to be able to draw outside the computer which is way too exhausting and painful for me , I need to get used to it 😎

I Went trough lots of chronic health issues this week and panic attacks ( I didn't have a single panic attack for at least 10 months ><). The atmosphere and what's happening in Europe is really too much for me lately. I hope you are dealing with it better than I am at the moment. I don't want to whine any longer since I'm probably not the only one in this state of mind and body so here have a brighter content : the second part of my last Tinkerbell shoot and backstages pic .
I've been quiet on Patreon this week because I was working on editing all my photoshoots and drawing a little bit. I don't think i'll be able to make a Sunday's reading tomorrow because I have been very very tired (like the chronic illness kind of fatigue, not the normal fatigue) the whole week and we all know now what happens when I push myself too hard. I also shouldn't have tried to wear contact lens last sunday, my eyes have been hurting since then ><. I prefer to wait a little bit and make the next reading and photoshoot with the joy and energy you and I are used to :)
