sorry for  the lack of news. I'm spending my time between  working on my Captain marvel costume and different appointments to get rid of that pain in my right side ( still no success so far...) and that previous acupuncture session I did  2 weeks ago even left me with an anormal pain (like electricity shocks) in the right hand, I told the guy about it and he said he must have pinched a nerve...

I really like this costume, the dress is very comfy , doesn't compress my stomach at all ( which is very important with my problems), too bad those shoes are just impossible to wear ! and I can't even walk straight with them ( I look like a penguin when I do XDD )

 If I'm going to wear it for a convention ( I'm thinking about Japan expo here) I need to find another pair with lower heels ^^,,,

As I thought, today my gallbladder and stomach are killing me.I Osteopath tried massages this morning, and since it's been worse . Really ,if it wasn't so painful I would say I'm fine.I felt no fatigue after these 2 photo shoots , can you believe it! Now, it's only the pain  left !

What I have been doing for the past 3 days.

Like I said previously, illness never stopped me from cosplaying .....et voila!
Months after I started with my Yuu cosplay I finally finished her transformed version:).
Too bad I don't know how to edit videos and add effects. I would have filmed a transformation. ( difficult to manage when you are doing everything by yourself 😅)

Anyway there is a tons of pic to edit now and I'm way too exhausted . Tomorrow I'm need to wake up early to see my osteopath for my gallblade...

Customizing that hideous Captain Marvel costume part 1

I won't be able to do miracles especially on the suit but I'm not letting down that costume I bought otherwise it would be wasted money.

So I'm gonna try to improve it a little bit and I started with the gauntlets ( which looked like mc Donald fries bags) .
I'm not redoing them from scratch because I don't have the material for it ( I just ordered some foam but it will take some time to arrive). However I will redo the leg greaves entirely.

Today is not my unbirthday ,

But my real birthday. I chose a pic of a day I was feeling quite good for the occasion.

Because reality is that I'm stuck home with that bloody gallbladder pain. And I even got my neck stuck in the process.
How? I guess it's related to my gallblader since the pain makes my muscles contract all over my chest and back area. It got to my upper back and when I went to an osteopath for help, he just made it worse... I also went to a new acuponctor hoping for some gallblader pain relief b...

Small wip: Creamy mami

My right side has been killing me lately  (gallbladder+ stomach+side back) but I managed to finish my creamy mami prop anyway. Costume is almost done too but seeing how strong is the pain in my body for now, photoshoot is not going to be for today.
I need to find another acupuncture doctor because the actual one is not helping at all on this issue. I tried almost everything ( osteopathy, etiopathy, kinesiology, magnetism, acupuncture, homeopathy, phytotherapy, conventional medecine an...

Sorry for the lack of news. I've not been doing much regarding cosplay lately.  That very annoying pain in my stomach and gallbladder has been back for a bit more than a week and I caught a cold. Well I'm not worried, you already know the song: it will pass.

I made it back home a couple days ago and I already miss Portuguese sun. ☀️

I told you before I go that there would be no cosplay during the week I was off to Portugal but now that I'm back , I can show you what I've been working on. Hint: Its related to a previous cosplay, I have a photoshoot idea I want to realize with these 2 costumes :)

Quick message to say

that I'm with my friend Lise now and It looks like Geek Days backlash is finally striking.
Like all the previous relapses I faced ,It's just a matter of time before it gets better. It will probably pass faster and hit less strong. So don't be surprised by the lack of cosplay news this week , for now I'm with my bed.

The good thing is we have nothing planned with Lise so I'll just stay still and rest near the swimming pool and enjoy winter's sun for the next couple days.

Meanwhile I'm in the train on my way to Lise home (Ladylili cosplay), I thought about this picture I wanted to share with you for a long time.

Remember that surprise wedding I was invited in summer 2018? We had a 50's 60's dress code and

Cosplay plan for this week end.

Hello my dear Patrons !

As some of you already know. I've been invited to a small convention in Rennes. Which is 45 min far from my home. And I will be having a booth. /0/🤗

So for the first time in ...3 years ? maybe ? I 'm getting all my stuff ready. Not only the cosplay things but also my drawings.! 🙂

Most of them are old already because I didn't do much these past 2 years but there are still a lot of people wo don't know my work so that is fine^^ I'm enjoying...

Not speaking much lately...

Because unfortunately I've been facing a relapse of my symptoms since the very beginning of February and it isn't making me happy... I thought it would last a few days but it's been 2 weeks now.... So back are the" exhaustion of death", vertigos, congested throat (well that symptom never really stoped ) heavy burning muscles, tendons and nerves etc etc.....

I'm staying positive. I know it will get better once again. I just have to be patient.

I've decided not to wait for the validation of the sewing teacher because otherwise this will never be finished. (And next lesson is in 3 weeks...)
I've done more in 2 days than in 1 month XD. It's not perfect especially on the back but it will do the job.

Interesting facts : the painting on the wall was done by my mom and the one on the easel was made by a dear friend of us who passed away last year. I find it moving that somewhere a part of her is still there with us through her painting.
