I have received digital transfers back from the batch of old U-Matic tapes that were sent away to be converted. Some hit and miss results.
Some of the tape contents could not be salvaged completely unfortunately so where some of the tapes should be an hour, they have a shorter run-time where only the first 20-30 minutes (for example) could be saved.
This is due to the tapes likely not being stored away properly for the last 40 years. Some of the tapes that did transfer in full are...
