I don't know exactly how it happened, but this ended up being one of my biggest videos since Slice of Life. I guess I had a lot to say about this episode! There's a lot more actual criticism in this sins video than usual but hopefully I was able to keep it entertaining all the same. I don't like this episode a whole lot, but it's a unique one that's still very fun to watch!

I'll be honest, I wasn't a big fan of this episode. My pet peeve is "the ultimate sin" as mentioned in the video. I like what the episode was going for though, and it's still fun to revisit these episodes nonetheless!

It's time for a new season of Cinemare Sins! With it come some stylistic changes.
I went into detail about the changes in a previous post. In short, I made the switch to original sounds/music and refined the intro/outro/overlay/etc a bit more. The basic sins format is all the same though!

This was a fun episode even if the resolution to the conflict was basically non-existent and they just magically become friends at the end. Maybe that magic spell did more than freeze them in place and there's some mind control at play? Alicorns are OP.

Hey all! I hope you're staying safe during this weird and sometimes frightening time. I hope you had a good March despite the pandemic. I know personally I've been staying at home and enjoying pony content even more than usual!

I'll admit it, this episode still gives me the feels. The Crusaders came such a long way and this was the perfect way for them to finally receive their long-awaited Marks. With that said, this is a sins video so let's pick apart some of the details which may not be so perfect!

This was an odd episode, but in a good way I think. The story seemed rather bland to me but the characters are where the show really shines as usual.

First Cinemare Sins of the eternal hiatus. I'm glad it worked out to be an actually great episode. I don't know if I could take the series finale AND have to labor over a painful episode [although to be fair, I'm a big fan of most episodes from this era of the show.]
I highly recommend you take this opportunity to go revisit the episode before even watching my video on it. Go revisit all of seasons 4&5 in fact!

Fashion horse time! This is one of those episodes which had begun to fade from my memory but was a delight to revisit. Rather coincidentally this is the longest sins video for a normal episode. That wasn't planned ahead of time, but more content is a good thing, right? Especially when it's pony content.

It's funny...I remember first seeing this episode when it aired and not caring for it. At the time, it just felt "too crazy" but now more than four years later I've fallen in love with it. This one is rather infamous, isn't it? Usually when I make a sins video like this I come to appreciate an episode more...and strangely enough the same is true for Princess Spike! Sure, Spike behaves terribly and the moral is backwards, but there are still a lot of fun moments in this episode. I don't know...maybe I just have Stockholm Syndrome after spending so many hours sin hunting and editing.

I'm feeling a lot better now although my voice still sounds terrible. I'm going to try waiting it out and record as soon as it sounds at least somewhat decent.
Other than that, things are going well. The Top 10 Pony Videos of March is progressing on-schedule. I also hope to start work on some new stuff once I'm feeling better, so stay tuned!
