Well, let’s start with the bad news. The slump is back, I’m barely able to write anything. Breakthroughs still happen, that’s how Rae’s movie night repeatable got up to something like 600 lines of dialogue, but overall, my productivity is once again, pretty bad. This week was pretty uneventful. I’m still riding the wave of somewhat better productivity from last week, but unfortunately it’s nowhere near great nonetheless. We’ve had calamitous weather for this whole week and I’m very susceptible to weather changes, so I’ve been feeling extremely sick every other day. But enough of that.

Hey folks!
Who knew that committing to a “three personalities” feature when having trouble with writing scenes was a bad idea? Well, I did, and still went with it. Anyway, v0.4.4 is in alpha 1. About 1200 new lines of dialogue, almost a hundred renders, 8 animated loops, all for a single scene. Additional minor 20-30 line events are coming tomorrow for alpha 2, but the update was mainly about the android, and it’s done now.

v0.4.4 Alpha 2 Download Links
And yet another fix is up, the new hanging out interaction should now work in all cases. Same instructions for the patch apply.
And links are updated once again with the fix for the log panel appearing in release builds. If you already downloaded alpha 2, you can extract the fix only zip into your game directory (replacing scripts.rpa) on PC or find a way to replace the same file on your Mac. Hey folks!
So, v0.4.3 is sorta-in-alpha now. One event is still not finished, a bit of writing and almost all renders are to be done. Plan to finish it Sat/Sun depending on how it goes. Lots of minor stuff I wanted to include in the update got cut, but at least I get to end Lyriel’s first arc on a somewhat satisfying note.

Hey folks!
v0.4.1 went public on Sunday, and v0.4.2 went to beta on Wednesday. Working on 0.4.3, should be done sometime next week. This update will bring Lyriel’s introductory arc almost to its conclusion. “Less than two weeks of development” isn’t going to happen, it looks like, but “about two weeks of development” is still possible.
