Episode 25 - Warped Communication

Well, this chapter certainly kicked my ass. I ended up writing and deleting something like 1500 words from it during the process. I keep getting lost in character conversations instead of keeping focused on the overall narrative. But this should be okay.

Hopefully, the book will be done within the next chapter or two. So stay tuned!

Difficult to say for certain. However… zoom in there. Note the pattern in the carbon scoring. The blast marks are all over the place, particularly centered around the landing pod. But they seem to be limited to at least five meters high along the trunks and into the canopy, as if he were firing randomly into the air.
