Makayla - Boudoir Setting in Honey Birdette

Going back to the start of this shoot at Tall Dark and Art studios, we shot in this boudoir themed set with the interesting backdrop and chaise longue. Makayla has an extensive lingerie collection, and here she is in Honey Birdette knickers, bra and suspender.

A number of Patrons have joined I think mainly to see my recent shoot with Makayla, and have asked me when it is coming.

Shoot Prep - Monika (NSFW)

As the shoot starts, Monika puts the finishing touches on her make up and checks herself in the mirror.

Technical: Nikon D850 with NIKKOR 24-70mm f/2.8E lens. Godox AD200pro flash in a soft box with grid mounted in the top left corner of the room (behind the camera).

Zipper Dress - Jessi (NSFW)

Continuing on from the imagined runway, Jessi put on this black and white dress with a zipper that goes all the way down the front. Then she unzipped it.

Another 10 year old shoot, from a workshop at the lost and lamented Storehouse Studios.

Jessi - Imagined Runway

From deep in the archives - I shot a bunch of website images for a pub, and in return they let me use their upstairs dining room for a model shoot. Jessi got dressed up in fine lingerie, and as I was shooting down the length of the room, I said let's imagine you are on a runway.

Rei Jade - Skylight (NSFW)

Shot in a friend's home studio. He has a skylight right above the set area, for this set we put a couple of flashes in the skylight so all the light is coming from directly above.

Shooting Today (NSFW)

Today I did two shoots at Tall Dark and Art's House of Boudoir studio.

First there was some glamour/art nude with Monika, then Portrait/Fashion/Steam Punk themes with Gemma.

These will be added to the queue as I process them.

Square Bokeh with Amy B

A patron asked about Amy, having seen her in my post about shaped bokeh.

This shoot is about 10 years old and was done in 2 parts. Shooting in Melbourne's Docklands region on the central pier, it started with a fashion theme during golden hour, then we waited until it got dark and shot these square bokeh images with the Bolte bridge in the background.

I got to do the shoot with Makayla that was postponed from last week. So expect a few more Makayla sets soon.

I was just wrapping up the shoot when she asked, "Can we do some with my jacket?"

"Sure, but why?"

"It's my favourite jacket. I love it."

This was the last shot of the session.

At the end of the shoot (we were running out of time) I asked Makayla if she would do some art nude. She jumped at it!

Makayla In Jeans - NSFW

So for this part of the shoot I wanted to capture Makayla being sexy in jeans. So we started with her in jeans and the bikini top, alternating with the bomber jacket (see last week's post). I said I'd like to shoot topless, thinking that it would be implied, but she just jumped right in and started posing.

Rebecca In The Bay Window (part 3) - NSFW

Rebecca grabbed a couple of pillows and a cushion from the bed and threw them into the window to have some props to play with.

This is the end of the bay window shots. After this Rebecca posed on the hotel room bed, and there are some very sexy shots in that. But I am going to take a break from this shoot to work on others - I'll return to this shoot in a while.

Monika - Red Bodysuit and Thigh High Boots

Moving from the low key, high contrast nudes, Monika put on this rather sexy outfit that really shows off her long, long legs.

Next week the bodysuit comes off!

Makayla - Bomber Jacket

Makayla arrived at the shoot in jeans and brought this jacket. "I love this jacket," she told me, "It is really warm for Melbourne Winters."

So for these shots I said to wear the jeans and jacket and nothing else, and we will try to show that you are not wearing anything underneath. "Easy, I never wear underwear anyway!"

Revisiting this shoot that I have not looked at for about 10 years, after a bunch of shots that were badly exposed and out of focus, I seem to have lifted my game and there are a whole lot of keepers. One more set next week.

My recent shoot with Monika started with some high contrast art nude lighting. The lighting and style is really geared to monochrome images, but I know you guys like colour photos so I have done a mix.

Makayla's Bright Pink Lingerie (part 2) - NSFW

Continuing on the same set and same lingerie, but now Makayla is not wearing the bra.

At this stage in the shoot it was supposed to be implied topless - but there are some shots that show nipple (or full breast), either because I got the angle not quite right, or Makayla moved before I shot, or because the intent was to crop the image in post. Given what happened later in the shoot, I am able to include those.
