haven't settled on what poses I want to use for part 2 of the set, but I can at least post these sketches here either way

The new set has begun...!

concept sketching - sweater yeet-chan

decided to forgo doing a whole christmas set and instead taking that sweater concept and expanding on it since a lot of you seemed to like it (also I want to add it to the merch shop and I want something that can sell year round lol)

will be trying to go for a similar style as the summer set for this one, but perhaps with a more cozy vibe. I hope it proves just as successful as that one was, it was for sure the most popular art I did this year!

morning sketching

every day that I have work, I try to get up extra early to do some art because my job pisses me off and I say "no! I'm doing what I want first!"

anyways here's an elesa I tried to sketch out but wasn't feeling 100% on the pose yet. so I figured 'go draw from reference then' and then I tried doing a quick photostudy. I forgot how tricky it is! there's so many subtle coloring and shading tones that my eye ain't trained to perceive yet (e.g. the subtle redder tones going toward the hands),...

That's finally a wrap! Kinda want to take it a bit easy after this whole set, but at the same time this makes me want to do more anatomy studies. Drawing nudes demands anatomy practice, who knew!

I originally did mean to just post the whole set at once way back in october when the latina meme was still fresh but then I ended up dragging it for a whole month, whoops! it was a good way to experiment using lineart again, we got some nsfw pieces out of it, and people generally like pokemon fanart so it was worth the effort. now to do the last nsfw piece so we can wrap it up for good...!

That previous commission got me wanting to further experiment applying black inking to originally 'lineless' art. I've yet to post the full skyla set outside of here, so I figured I'd test it out on here. I'm liking it so far, so I'm going to try applying it to others.
