Hi all, just sending you the next installment of samples before a very busy month of gigs!
This installment sources ideas close to my current interests and creative output which have been more industrial-inspired. I've taken unused parts from past works and given them a helping of grit, noise and feedback. As with my goal for samples I am aiming to make them as usable as possible while containing as much detail and variation.
Let me know how I've done and hope you enjoy the sample...

As discussed in my 2-hour overview of 'A Faint Glow of Bravery'.
This is a track highly influenced by the deconstructed forms of James Blake, Airhead, Ploy, Mount Kimbie, and many such acts who came from the Dubstep scene. Undeniably abstract and synthetic, it was an offshoot of the record that was ultimately dropped in favor of a more organic sound. In another time I'd be happy to finish this track.
We'll see, and I hope you enjoy!

Hi, with this month's exclusive tracks I wanted to show an alternate vision of my latest record, 'A Faint Glow of Bravery'. This track was an instrumental that was meant to go under a vocal, with a bit of funk and intrigue in the scattered drum beats and drum rolls. Otherwise, the instrumentation is focused on synths, and much more song-like than the music that made it onto the record.
Hope you enjoy this look into how 'A Faint Glow of Bravery' could have gone down a very different path...

"... a rekindling of passion - of what remained after drum and bass."
I've decided to put up for public viewing 45-or-so minutes of a 130-minute epic detailing but only scratching the surface of what went into my new record.
It was a real outpouring of love, loss, lust, hate, dread and everything in between in these seven tracks written towards the tail end of 2022. Watch as I dive into the nuances in the production and the key points that created the sound of the record.

For the second half of this two-hour-epic hosted on my discord server, I delve into the remaining tracks of the record and discuss further the stylistic points and ideology that upholds the music and the presentation of the record on all fronts.

"... this EP was a long journey for me to find something less "describable" and less conventional in terms of emotional meaning. Drum and bass is a genre with so much intensity and energy but it's important for me (and back then I began to realize that) to harness that emotion and point it to somewhere that was more pin-pointed and targeted, and explore dynamics not only in the technical sense ... and to portray something that was deeper and harder to understand."

Very pleased to set into the world my next milestone record. The "Faint Glow of Bravery" to me is the ability to challenge my emotional capacity, to guide myself through troubling and uncertain states of mind in search for catharsis, or in the sake of art, something special.
I'll be holding a public livestream for all in my Discord server, to chat and discuss the record while I go through the stems and project files. The session will be recorded for Patreon supporters of Collector tier ...

With a few days' delay here they are, happy new year!
I had some time to think about the samples I've done over the past 18 months, particularly the breaks as they are to me most usable and malleable too. I thought about ways to leverage usability and mileage in drum arrangements and multi-track drum loops. So here they are - multiple full arrangements for inspiration and idea creation, but broken down into nice usable layers to allow single hit isolation and chopping, as well as utiliz...

Another rare cut straight from my DAW with this piece surrounded in bass weight and techno-mystical animism. 'Sinew' feels like a great compliment to brutal winter nights and hazy states of mind spent staring blankly into the cold. Hope you enjoy.

Hi, tomorrow we'll launch into the 3rd operating year of this Patreon, which is a big milestone for someone who's been delivering monthly exclusives for the entire time.
I've unfortunately not had enough time to deliver the samples for your tier benefits tomorrow, but do know that I've got lots planned for this month and the next and I'll just need some time to catch up. We should expect the samples to be delivered by the end of the first week of the year, and exciting things to f...

Something sweet and musical for the end of the year!
I've given the Chicago-House-tinged original by Disclosure a classic sci-fi inspired rework, taking only the chords and vocal hook from the original. Great fun sourcing and installing new instrument samples, dubby basslines and synth bleeps, hope you enjoy and have a great festive season!
Be back with more next year.

It's been a long while since I've released music officially, and this was grounds for a lot of re-evaluating, a lot of planning, but in the end all work I'm deciding to do for myself.
I wanted to feel in control of the release process, and I know that I've got the connections to push the music where I want them to be (roughly). Here's two premieres for the self-release. Thank you UKF and DJ Mag.
'Snake Charmer' is dirty tension and urban bleakness, backed with serious firepower on...

Following hot off the heels of the previous "masterclass" on drums, this time we look to individual synth patches: monophonic vs polyphonic expression, synthesis, articulation, onboard and post-processing. All done within Xfer Serum.
Unfortunately the computer audio has been doubled due to setup issues so I have removed parts of the video where I play out full arrangements or full tracks, where the audio is un-listenable. Hope you understand.
I'll be including all synth patches an...

Hi all. This month I'm offering a track I've been meaning to share with you all for a long time.
'Never Before After' revolves around synthwork diving in and out of reverb, noise and interference. Written in 2020, it was the foundation of many more stylistic intuitions and careful curation of musical content that would become a big part of what I do now.

Hi all! Couple things to note here with these new samples. I'm currently compiling a best-of pack of samples from June 2022 onwards, ready to be released at the end of the year. It's currently looking to be 250+ samples total with long synth takes and plenty small ideas split into parts like how I usually do for samples here. I'll be offering a discounted price for the pack for Patreon supporters!
Now for the current month of samples, I'm offering some broken down backbeats from old ide...

Trigger warning: sexual assault
It pains me to have to deliver this message to you, having heard it enough from fellow non-men in the scene. I also hope not to be preaching to the choir.

The incident was born from a breach of mutual respect, until the perpetrator decide to act upon assumptions of my boundaries. The next day I was called by the perpetrator, who proclaimed innocence and threaten...

In this month of samples created from August to September I honed in on noise and amplifying the noisy character of sounds... I focused on intentional and simple use of compressors, comb filters, looping samplers, delay and reverb to create some very physical feeling sounds, fit for electronic music. I wanted to push forward this idea that very synthetic music made in software doesn't have to be extremely clean and polished. That the roughness around the edges is often desirable. Hope you enj...

See how she dances and,
She sips a Coca-Cola,
She can't tell the difference yet.
This tune was one of the first big club tunes I really loved when I began paying attention to house music as a producer. There was something captivating and hypnotizing about the pace of the drums, vocals and that simmering bassline. In my opinion, I've given it a similarly seductive twist with dub-influenced drum and bass sounds soaked in reverb. ...
