Following hot off the heels of my last 'comprehensive' tutorial on my general approach to electronic music, and something more straightforward this time...
I'll be breaking down some synth patches (Xfer Serum) and processing chains for a concise perspective on writing synth parts for electronic music.
My main focus is to illustrate how to best leverage the expression of your synth patch with applied modulation, picking the notes you play, the idea and function of the part... And why I believe very strongly that less is more when it comes to synth-lines.
