Fool's gold production and comicking insight: thumbnails are important!!!

 I was feeling pretty weird about the first half of Fool's gold - the compositions weren't very nice at all. When I went back to Spider and butterfly, I noticed I didn't do with this current project what I did for the previous - carefully thumbnail all the pages before start finishing the project as to get a better hold of the story flow and composition.

Motion graphics tests!!

 I'm finally trying out motion design stuff!!

 I tried my hand at after effects and as always from adobe software, I felt utterly useless and dumb. But I've seen people doing it with capcut, and it's being nice!! I'm always going in the road less taken which makes me kinda sad and feel powerless, but I'm going forward right! ...right?

 Lots of little tests with Apparition characters and one of my cutesy cats.

Loyal Three master

Yearning for power, they got shackled in toxic chains. Even though much more powerful, they lost themselves. I have this little theory the loyal three master will do something for kieran - along with the obsession over power and battling that seems to be commonplace on Blueberry Academy.

A little on the production side - I've been meaning to do this scene ever since I conceptualized Apparition 3 years ago! I wanted one of the characters to do some shibari bounding magic as a gimmick because it sounds cool, and ended up picking a spider as a motif for him. So it was what culminated on Webisu being Spider Webisu!

I'm still setting up things in my fixed notebook!!! It's more work than I had thought. For instance, I think I lost all my custom brushes in CSP.

The file size has reached a point where my old notebook can't handle me working with it anymore, so I'm posting this WIP while my notebook isn't fixed!

Also this page kinda got me burnout.... that time will be good for me to recover and refresh my eyes off of it. These mini projects were supposed to be more pleasant to work with, but I always go overboard with things... Gotta learn how to be more chill!!

After a regular day of work, I tried turning my notebook in the morning... And i didn't.

I'm already in contact with asus for a repair, as I've bought it only this January.

I'm so frustrated!!!

I'll have to put most of my work on hold, so I wanted to post this information for patrons with rewards as well.

Fool's gold may go on as I think I can do the lineart and flats for the next page (which sketch was almost completed), but for finishing it I'd need my actual noteboo...
