Here's the lines for the last illustration of September! Working on the colors now, but I figured I'd share the lines, since they are done.

Here's the WIP of the last illustration for September.
I feel like this is one of those drawings where I feel like I really captured the essence of what I want my character art style to look like. I am going to be figuring out the background today, and hopefully have enough time to color it!
As soon as this one is done, I'll send out September's drawings to all of September's patrons, who have been waiting so patiently while I have been dodging life's landminds.
I never get sick. Never. Well, except this week.... on top of everything else... *sigh*
So yeah, I got sick this week with a nasty cold, but I was able to power through some of my backlog anyways, despite being an achy, tired, mucus sprinkler. Ha!!! Take that, universe's-attempts-to-stop-me! Here's the 3rd drawing for September's set.
I think she forgot to add tinder to the fire... and is that really how you cook tentacle? I guess she's got enough to experiment with, ...

Ok, now that October is in the bag, I'll be working hard to finish up September's set with Cave Elf, by the end of the week. Then, after that's done and sent out to September's Patrons, I'll be able to start working on November. I got some ideas, looking forward to working them out!

As I said in a previous post, my power was out, or in threat of being out, for most of this week, so I was held up in my work. I bought a beefy inverter generator, though, so I should not be delayed anymore by all the electrical blackout bullshit that's plaguing Northern California, these days.

Due to the recent chain of power outages in Northern California, I bought an inverter generator. Been educating myself on best practices, and looking forward to testing it out this weekend. :)
I lost 4 days of work to blackouts and the risk of blackouts. Saturday was in a threat of blackout all day, and so I didn't want to run my pc, in case of sudden loss of power. The power was out all day Sunday, and most of Monday. Power was restored late on Monday, but was scheduled to go off agai...
Oh boy...
Earlier this month, a majority of the northern state of California (where I live) had it's power shut off. The reason provided by our Local power company (PG&E) was that they wanted to prevent fires that might be caused from high winds damaging their lines in our heavily forested region, and starting a wildfire. The outage lasted a single day, but the short notice and vague information sent many into panic. Lots of local businesses lost money due to being under prepa...

The colors on this were a bit tricky, I had to change her skin and hair color palette a lot to fit with the strange lighting, and that took some experimenting. I have been playing Dark Souls lately (first time!) and so that explains the cold colors. XD
As usual, I'll be sending out the high resolution files after the end of the month, usually on the 5th, when payments have fully processed.
