Last pic for June, done!

At long last, here's the final colored pic for June! I am now going to upload the high resolution files to dropbox and send out the rewards to all June Patrons. That should be ready within the hour. Thanks again for being patient while I worked on this set! I hope you like how they turned out as much as I do. Can't wait for you to see the high resolution versions!

Anyways, on to July! I am getting started on that right away. :)

Pinup Sketch (June, Pic 4)

So, I was working on this the other day, and nearly finished... Then we lost power just as I was saving it... Long story short, corrupted file. Argh! You'd think I'd have learned my lesson on that front, but here we are! 

Anyways, the second go is usually better! I will be coloring it up and sending out the colored high resolution files to June's patrons, by the end of the week.

This is how the final version of pic 3 for June's cave girl elf turned out. 

As I stated in my last post with the failed sketch, I actually drew an entirely new scene for the 3rd pic... But it just didn't work out. Something about how her face being turned away from the camera took away a lot of the "message" I was going for, with this shot. Failed sketch... but I learned something!

Sometimes, no matter how good you are feeling about your skills, you just hit a road block. This pic was one of them. I Worked and reworked this drawing several times, and even got it to this stage of clean lines... But in the end, it just didn't convey the message I wanted. I think it has something to do with her face being out of shot, or something like that... Either way, it really didn't have the effect I wanted... So, I scrapped it, and started over. DX

Yay! Finally got this one done, but you know, even though this set is late, I am really happy with it. Gotta stretch those artistic legs, every once in a while, right? 

Well, on to the next one! I am gonna get the next couple of sketches up soon, so June's art should be done by the end of this next week. Then I will get right into July (which will be a bit more simple on the background, but still just as fun, I hope). XD

Sneak Peak to some upcoming DA posts!

I thought I'd give you all a sneak peak into the next pieces of art I will be posting to my Deviant Art gallery. Just to be super clear, these aren't part of the Patreon rewards, and when finished, will be posted to my DA gallery. The Patreon exclusive rewards will be full scenes like the last two I have been working on. :)

Phew! That one took a while to finish! 

I mean, the first pic in a set always takes a bit longer, because I spend a lot of time trying to figure out how I want to do different aspects... But I am looking forward to moving on to the next pics in the set. The background trees were the hardest part for me, and I am still not entirely sure I am satisfied with it... But I am going to move forward, anyways! Also, I tried something different with the fur texture on her outfit. Speaking of her ou...

It's Shantae! I just watched a playthrough of this on Gamegrumps, and had to draw the main character. That's a heart squid next to here, which you use to get more health.

Decisions on the lewdness!

Thank you to everyone who gave their feedback on the last poll, concerning the lewdness of my latest Patreon set! It was very helpful and reassuring!

So, it seems that many of you are pretty happy with the way I do things, and would even be cool with me pushing the limits of lewd a bit further, if I chose to.  In fact, a lot of you encouraged me to do so, actually, with the caveat to only do it if I was comfortable with the idea. I appreciate that sentiment very much!

Content Poll! How lewd is too lewd?

Looking at the last pic of April, how do you feel about it? Is it too lewd? Is it not lewd enough? Or is it just the right amount of lewd?
