So, I've been re-reading all my old 'Captain Carrot and his Amazing Zoo Crew' issues (a comic HUGELY responsible for 'My Cage'....if i could get Roy Thomas and Scott Shaw to do a 'My Cage' strip, I could die happy) Now, when back then, they called the book a 'Funny Animal' book, and comics had had a lot of those in the past (Super Rabbit, Fox and Crow). And while I have nothing against Furries (whatever people do is there own business), I consider 'My Cage' a 'Funny Animal' comic. So, my questio...

Ed Power again. 2 questions: What are your favorite comics/webcomics and 2. Do you hear any particular voices of the characters as you read 'My Cage'? For example, I always hear Diedrich Bader's voice when I read Rex's dialogue.

I'm posting a "mobile" version of the strip with vertical orientation.

Originally I made the strip vertical for mobile phone readers but some readers voiced their opinion on their preference for the horizontal strip. Hope it works better for everyone now! :)

Rough Sketch

For the May reward, one lucky person requested Bridget tossing her wedding bouquet and having Jeff catch it. The two rough figures besides him are an angry Maureen and and a curious Ashley.

I sketched Bridget in her original wedding costume from the first strip, as Buffy.

I usually go straight to inks from this point and don't really clean up my sketch lines any further unless I have something new or intricate to draw.

Bridget and baby

Knowing I'd be drawing the comic again, I really wanted to give Bridget a special new look as a new mom. I also designed what their baby would look like so it can rival the cuteness of Rex and Violet's baby Sunny.
