January Newsletter from Kristian!

Hello everyone!!

What a start to the new year! The MCU reactions have been taking off! I started doing reactions for Squid Game, which I should have more coming from that show soon. The live show has been thriving and we are gearing up for an exciting rest of 2025. We have a lot of new members. We have a lot of new patrons. And it’s so exciting to speak to all of the new and returning here with this newsletter.

I am desperately trying to get to the unedited reactions so I can get those out to everybody on both Patreon and memberships. It is the most requested thing so far. I have been enjoying our exclusive live streams that we’ve been doing with you guys. I hope that all of you are taking advantage of them. Whether or not you can join in and be part of the conversation or join by chatting it up while watching along.

We also do the exclusive Q&A‘s every month so even if you can’t join us, throw a comment in there and I’ll read your comment on the air so you can watch it on the replay.

I also hope that everybody has been taking advantage of the fact that you can read all of the wonderful Capes & Cowls comic books, illustrated and created by the great Wicked Art. They’re so funny, well drawn and just awesome!! I can’t wait until they’re completed so we can do a full on video for this with the crew. I have some guests coming up, I had a sit down with The great Joe Piscopo yesterday. That should come out sometime next week. Working on some new guest. So things are really moving and I can’t even imagine what it’s gonna be like once the movie season really picks up. Sam and I will be doing some more stuff and we are blasting through the MCU and Black Panther, Spider-Man, and the infinity Saga is coming up. So thank you guys for joining us. December - End of Year Newsletter from Kristian!

Hello everyone. This is the newsletter for December and the end of a great year with all of you. Thank you to everyone who has been a part of both the membership and the Patreon! It is because of you guys that we were able to continue to do this every day. We brought in a lot of new people, the move from New York was successful. I am happy to hear that so many of you feel the same way. We’ve had some really fun moments!

The crew is pretty set. We’ve had some fun guests, whether it was on the show For interviews for projects or people from the past, we’ve had some really fun things happening. I created a separate UAP channel that people are enjoying. The success of UAP Tuesday on the main channel that eventually shifted into a separate channel was an interesting task. I was able to learn a few things this year that I didn’t know previously.

I created the clips channel based off of recommendations and ideas from some of you. Your comments, your support has been instrumental in the growth of all of it. The Patreon was essentially started when we started the Movie Trivia Schmoedown. It was created in 2017 and the support for that show eventually led into this Patreon. A lot of you have stuck with it and it has done wonders for us. When we decided to experiment and try something new this year with memberships, PLD and I were curious how that was gonna work and turns out it works wonderful. Not only is it something that people on YouTube can do if they don’t wanna come over to the Patreon side but it’s also a fun thing that I’ve seen where the live show has been a place that people actually have gifted memberships and maybe that’s how a lot of you are seeing this right now. So I am grateful for it. I’m also grateful for all of the brand new people who have found the channel. Whether it is the interviews, the out of the theater reactions, the reactions. it has been a really fun year.

Also, speaking of the reactions, I’m excited that those have been something that I finally was able to do. I have to give a big shout out to LUKE from the Galaxy Geeks. LUKE has been a huge part of helping this channel grow. He was a fan of the Movie Trivia Schmoedown and was very vocal about trying to help us reach goals this year and was able to do that both he and Greg Alba pushed me to do these reactions that I wanted to do forever. And by bringing my childhood friend in Sam, my wife and my friend Tina I was finally able to do it. So 2024 has been a really wonderful year and I’m excited for what 2025 will hold. I’m excited for 2025 also because we get to see the finale of the Capes & Cowls comic book by Wicked Art! We are going to do a full on comic book read with music and everything and make it a full episode of the show once I get all of the voices and everything done. So here is to a great year and thank you for the year that we had!!!

With that in mind we are going to go from 3 to 2 guaranteed Bars and we will attempt to do a third time permitting from now on. November Newsletter!

Hello everybody. As we approach Thanksgiving, I just think it is appropriate to tell you that I am thankful to all of you. In this newsletter, I really want to start it off by saying just that.

For all the people who have joined recently. Thank you to all the new members, thank you to all the new patrons.

Whether you’ve been watching for a long time and joining now, whether you just found us and joined now. Thank you so much for being part of this journey. Thank you to the members and patrons who have been part of this for a long time. I can’t thank you enough and I try to continuously tell you how important it is and how appreciative I am of you guys that you are with us and give us this support month in and out.

There’s a lot of things that come with us and, you guys are a big part of that. I wanted to thank you from the bottom of my heart. It’s always nice and humbling when we see the new people who are responding to what we are doing and decided they want to be part of this journey even more. I was thinking about this on my walk with the dog the other day, and I get comments about people who have been with us since the Schmoe Days. Stretching back even into tow hop. It reminds me of shows and radio personalities that I watched or listen to growing up as a kid and I stuck with them to see what the journey was that they were going on, and you guys made me feel that way with comments like that. Like everyone else, sometimes I get to a spot and I go, am I doing the right thing? And then I get comments like the ones that you guys put in and the support, and it makes me realize that I absolutely am.

Community has always been a strong hold of what we do here, stretching back to those days. So, when I see people, joining and collaborating and sending in questions it means a whole lot. To see the smile on someone’s face when their son is able to talk to Matt Serra because they joined in just to have a conversation and they got a little boost that day, and it put a smile on their face. That type of stuff means the world to me.

I love that you guys were inquiring about full watch along the unedited versions, so you can watch the movies along with me and Sam and whoever. I wanna make sure that you guys have enough perks here. So that’s why I always ask you, to put your suggestions in, what do you want to see more of. What are we doing right? What are we doing wrong? Any of those things. We have a lot going on, I am managing three channels right now. I just had a great interview with Jaleel White And managing that channel, the clips channel. The main channel, the UAP channel and Matt Serra’s channel so I guess that’s four channels overall. So, I know sometimes it seems like I’m a little busy, and in reality, I am. But as I mentioned earlier in this newsletter, the support you guys are giving, gives the opportunity, to keep pushing forward to to build out and eventually get some people to help behind the scenes besides poor PLD and Luke.

So, I want you all to have a great holiday. Enjoy the time with your loved ones, eat a lot of turkey, eat a lot of food. Enjoy. And for people outside of the United States, have a relaxing weekend. Enjoy yourselves. We'll be here in December and let’s close the year out strong!
