Had to rearrange some scenes and rewrite quite a bit. I took out Derrek's point of view from the old draft and kept it in the main character's.

It was a quick rewrite, and I haven't revised it. Considering I have to go back through the whole book again for another revision, it's kind of pointless to revise right now since it just wastes more time.

Had to do a bit of rewriting. I didn't realize just how intertwined the scenes from chapter 17 were with everything up until now. Hopefully this is the last I have to deal with it.

Chapter 18 is up

Fuck that was a lot to rewrite. I'm still up in the air with this chapter since I had to change so much. It kind of seems unfocused, but that I kind of have an idea of how to steer the story. It will definitely need some major revision later on, but for now I'll leave it at this.

Some of this stuff was pivotal to the plot later on, so I may have just toppled an entire house of cards.

Anyways, chapter 18 is up, I'm 50-50 on it, and we'll see what I think of it later on in the rev...

Chapter 17 is up

This chapter was completely rewritten. Had to change some lore which will very much ripple into the later chapters. So there will probably be more rewriting in future chapters as well. The hard part starts now, so there will be times when chapters won't be up as fast.

Okay, we are getting to the part where I will be completely rewriting these chapters, so bear with me.

I didn't change too much here, but I did clean up some of the interactions between Art and Austin.

Chapter 14 is up

This one required quite a lot more rewriting. I'm changing Mosavi's personality. Not too much, but enough to give him a bit more depth as a character while also making him a little more likeable.

Chapter 13 is up, and I've updated access.

I was wondering why I've gotten no feedback, and I realized I had comments disabled. They are enabled now.

Chapter 10 is up

Didn't really have to do TOO much rewriting with this chapter either, but I am setting Mosavi up for a change. The biggest rewrites will be probably chapter 12 and onward. As always, the link to the beta document is in Story-Updates on discord.

Chapter 9 is up

You know the drill. Link is on the story updates channel in Discord! Changed quite a few things, but left a lot of things alone in this chapter. I haven't had to MAJORLY rewrite anything yet, which is good.

Since this is an alternate version of Earth, I'm changing state names to something made-up. Eventually when I go back through this story to change the character names and stuff, I'll be changing some of the pop culture references. Some will stay, others will change.

I found out that most of the document didn't copy over, and I ended up losing about a quarter of my changes for chapter 6. It's up now in full. Sorry about that.

Chapter 6's revision/rewrite is up

This was was also a bit of an extensive rewrite. I noticed a lot of inconsistencies that end up not making sense in later chapters. Those are being fixed.

This story is definitely getting another round of extensive revision before I can call it serviceable, but it'll get there. Once again, the document is in the Story-Updates channel on Discord.

Chapter 5 is up

I did a LOT of rewriting this chapter. I took out the weird threesome sex scene and replaced it with something a lot more in character for both Derrek and Arthur. It hasn't been revised, so it's a little rough. It's a little more emotionally involved and sets up the conflict between Derrek and Simon a little more than having it come out of left field.

Chapter 4 is up!

Chapter 5 is where I'm going to be hitting a rewrite wall. I didn't think the threesome, double penetration scene came so damn soon in this story. I keep forgetting, it was only supposed to be about 6 chapters long, so I just crammed as much fucking into the beginning as possible.

Chapter 3 of WLGYW is up

I'm making quite a bit of progress, but I suspect it will slow down as I have to rewrite more. Either way, it feels good to be getting this off my plate.
