God damn, am I happy to finally tackle one of my all-time favorite games (and probably my most beloved character designs)! Soul Reaver was so fucking formative for lil' wee lad Artyom, you have no idea.

We needed to fit quite a lot of narration into this scene, so I went with a bit of a storyboook approach to opening panels; the page might look a bit unbalanced as it is now, but it should pay off well with the lettering!

THE PEOPLE (page 2)
This was one of the hardest pages to figure out in layout and text flow, but DAMN was it worth it. Panel 1 so, so easily could've been utter shite, flat and uninteresting, but in the end it is probably the most interesting panel I've done this year.
Also, I am definitely obsessed with drawing grass, foliage, hair and fir in the least intuitive ways possible XD

Knifing in Belgrade - 2
Going back to this page and finally finishing it after a week of very annoying and excruciating Serbian bureaucracy, phew (4 or 5 weeks of it still ahead -_-).
You could also see how I had to go into more details on my pencils before inking the second panel here - it's been far to long since I penciled it back in 2022, so I wanted to make sure I'm on the same page with the old me before botch...
