I'm slowly inking this tricky underwater scene, and last night I was pleased to get the results on this particular panel, specifically how the water surface and light ended up looking. Still, I was anxious to see how it works with screentones, so I went and quickly added rough tones to the photo above, without even scanning the page:

Went a bit ahead and decided to pencil the closing scene of our opening issue of FKII (don't get too giddy - the issue is still missing 2/3 of its pages!). It follows some characters into a very grim and important place, and even tho I'm usually not the kind of guy to throw references left and right, doing a bit of a Arnold Böcklin homage felt very fitting. Initially I wanted to have more negative space on the page, but it really signs with the cloudy horizon, innit?
