Just a tiny sneak peak at the making of Book Two, still unnamed. Have a few ideas but nothing solid yet.
Thinking of calling it The Comatose or Saving Sky. I like the idea of The Comatose because I can keep branding similar with how The Deranged looks. Or The Reformation (you'll learn about this word in book two).
What are your thoughts?

Hey folks - just wanted to pop in and let ya know I've been working my butt off on revamping my author website. It's not perfect, and there are definitely things that I'd like to change but cannot for the life of me figure out (like how to change the color of the font on the footer so it's more legible). BUT, I think it's much more functional now and I'd love it if you checked it out!

Went into mini’s room to work while AJ filmed, and these boogers follow me in. They’re sorta our cats but sorta not. They’re local strays that seem to love us as much as we love them. (Okay, they love the continual food we give them). The white ones name is Death and the black one is Papa. It’s super cold outside so we’ve been letting them in the house, I think they’re getting used to it.

This month has been sort of a wonky one for me. I haven't accomplished what I've set out to do, but that doesn't mean I haven't been busy. This past week, instead of focusing on the writing aspect of being an author, I invested my time into marketing. I met a friend who helped me rework some of my Facebook ads, and so far, I've managed to double my October book income (for sake of transparency, I made $11 in book sale royalties in October, and as of now I'm at $28 for November). Yesterday marked November 1st, the start of a new month, and the start of NaNoWriMo season! I haven't fully committed to NaNo, but I'm going to be using it as motivation to follow along and write my little heart out to get this draft of The Deranged - Book Two complete.

I managed to get 3,503 words in for the day. Which is great but also kinda crappy. Had more distractions than I was hoping but feel GREAT about the story I was able to get on paper today.
So excited for the sequel to The Deranged — I really think it’s going to be a great continuation!

Tiny bit of progress. Too many distractions today. 😑 doing writing sprints to keep word counts flowing during the time spent writing. I tried out 20 minute segments before realizing I could have the same or better output with 15 minutes. No clue why that is, but I tend to write better during those 15 minutes. Going to get back to it now, but I’m happy to almost be a 1/3 of the way complete with this first draft!
