I suspect I have about $65 worth of fake supporters but I've noticed Patreon has made some changes so that folks can't access content until they've had a payment processed successfully. That said, I've not been too worried about that; I just continue to be baffled why I get bots going for the higher (commission) tiers... they'll get nothing because they don't exactly tell me what to draw... perhaps they're trying to make ...

I honestly cannot remember how her name is meant to be pronounced but according to the Elven name Generator I am particularly fond of it means Rain Branch... I'm sure the human equivalent would be having a name like Sandy Drink. Now I want to check a phone book and because chances are a real life person has that name.

State of the Artist Address

Thank you everyone for your continued support; just thought I'd give a quick update about what's going on around here!

Trying to finish up my January Rewards, been slowed down by an exciting new job opportunity that I'm trying out for and it's a huge thing I gotta do do a lot of art for to see if I'll be accepted - and more recently, caught a flu which has me slowed down more than I'd like. I THINK the worst part has filtered out of my face holes and I should be making a steady recover...

Starsweeper - Lurela

In case anyone was wondering how the WIP I posted ended up looking.

I'm fairly happy with what I came up with (as long as I don't stare too long at the ones other folks have made, with their intricate patterns and pretty hair and delicate cheekbones asgfghsghgggh)!
I had intended to do a clothed and anatomically-accurate nude of this but changed my mind. I need to move on to other things that need to be done and the next time(s) I draw her she'll be clothed anyway.
I figure she's abo...

Art Reward Note:

When I started Patreon, I decided to draw and present the Commission-Rewards at 1500x1500 (or at least height or length-wise, in some cases). I feel I've finally gotten the hang of that canvas size, so I have decided to increase my work-space to 2000x2000 with another 500 increase around the mid-year mark (if I remember!)

I still have a bunch of sketches I need to tidy up and post here, done in the older canvas size, but moving forward I'll be endeavouring to continue with my larger canvas...

Comic WIP

Now that Patreon isn't freaking out and is letting me post things, here's the thing I mentioned last night.

It's been interesting, I forgot how differently it would be trying to sketch and ink a background digitally... you wouldn't think it'd make much of a change but it did for me. Still, this comic made me aware of it... so far I've shuffled 2 panels around (hence why some are busting out of their frames) and I've only jsut decided on an actual hairdo/look for the lady.
