Power, speed... the momentum had been building towards a crescendo as the two German funded makes, Auto Union and Mercedes Benz competed to build faster and faster racecars... With the imminent conclusion of the Libre Grand Prix rules, only a few races remained for Mercedes to explore the true limits of speed. Those limits were reached during the 1937 AVUS Grand Prix when the mighty silver streamliners were revealed for Mercedes and Auto Union. During the race they slipstreamed and battled ea...

1934 Mercedes - 13 votes
1906 Renault AK - 9 votes
1906 Itala 35/45 - 3 votes
I have some good news though, currently both the Renault and the Mercedes are already in progress. While the Itala has been put onto the back burner for now.

Alessoi, the importer who was handling the 1934 Bugatti has been in the hospital this last week, so things didn't quite get finished how any of us would like for an early access model. Just a heads up, there are TOO MANY BUGS TO LIST. However, I expect this model and the Locomobile will be getting extensive updates in a week or two.

2. The Locomobile is getting a revised collision model. We are behind schedule (mid-month update), it will be released once finished.
3. The Locomobile has AI issues (because of such low peak torque). We are behind schedule (mid-month update), still don't have great solution at this point. Once the Locomobile update is finished I'll release it with whatever the best idea I currently have.<...

I just saw a post about the Colombo 1175 F1 car that never made it past the drawing board. I'm curious if any of you would want us to create this car for Assetto Corsa. Perhaps it could be a paid mod since it is a defunct brand, but I'm not sure what the interest is for weird unfinished F1 projects like this car.
The 1175 was designed with eight narrower than normal wheels (for the time) with the rear wheels being only 8 inches wide. These wheels were to be arranged in pairs though eac...

Itala could be considered the first powerhouse racing manufacturer. The Itala racing cars won major races including the Coppa Florio in 1905, the Targa Florio in 1906 and the Peking-to-Paris race in 1907. We have revised and completed the 3d models for the 1906 Itala 35/40, the 1907 Itala 35/45, and the 1907 Itala 36/45.

We finished the new 3d model for the 1937 Mercedes W25 Streamliner. I know some of you were disappointed when we had to delay the mod due to quality control issues, but ultimately it led to a complete rebuild of the 3d model. Once we get the model imported I'll fit it into the release schedule somewhere.

I've been thinking about this for a few weeks as Casual Sim Studios became something much more than another avenue of support for my A Casual Sim Racer YouTube channel. So I began to think about changing the name of my company. It was pretty much a now or never type of thing, since the company will grow over time and any name change is best while its still early on.
The biggest motivation behind the name change is clarity. Now when people read the name it is much clearer what Historic...
