I said I wasn't gonna make a video this week but there was a lull in AGDQ runs and I got restless. I'm not convinced this video needs to be 25 minutes long; accepting suggestions for parts I should cut out. Also let me know if there's audible CRT whine, I think I got it though.

Here's my first supporter-only video, I hope it's the sort of thing you want to see. Like I said before, when I get stuff from eBay etc., it could be eons before it gets into a finished video, since I prefer my public stuff to be tightly edited and error-free - with this limited audience however I can leave the leaves and twigs in and feel okay about it. I didn't have my studio lights up for the previous images; I still don't have the whole setup hung up (hence the harsh shadows) but I wanted to show you that under better lighting the color is a lot more vibrant.
My eyes kinda auto-white-balanced the previous images and when I went back to them I went "oh no these look much duller than reality"

The white noise in my videos should be a thing of the past. I just picked up this AT wireless mic kit today and the quality is fantastic, so now I will actually have a mic on my shirt collar instead of two feet away and the Yeti will be reduced to voiceover duty.

I just posted the first proper episode of my vintage software series. This part focuses on games, which happened to be pretty bad for the most part. This ran to 20 minutes so I decided to split the utility into a separate video which I'm still shooting.
I'm trying a less "narrator" voice on the suggestion of several people who know me. I'm trying not to be an Angry Game Youtuber, but I do tend to yell at terrible games. Let me know in the comments what you think of the change. Thanks!

I ordered some modules and found out they're so barebones that they're kinda outside of my skillset. A few days ago I found a module on Amazon that looks much more promising, so once I test it out and confirm it works for my purposes I should be able to start doing those mod videos.

It just doesn't work with my desktop PC's extremely early USB 3.0 chipset, so I sent away for a replacement PCI-E card through the post. It has a VIA chipset so I'm hoping it's the secret sauce to match my burger.
