Hey all, so today has been "frantically fix bugs and reupload builds day" as evidenced by the fact that we started on v0.4 and are now at v0.4.3 with v0.4.4 coming tomorrow. Heya! So again, much of my work today was bugtesting and tiny tweaks of internal stuff, so not that interesting to look at, but this is! This is the interior of Mirkhome Inn, the inn of Blackwarren. I did a few other maps as well, but I wanted to show this one off because it's coincidentally where one of the $10 reward characters will be at.

Alrighty guys, I know this one's a little earlier than usual, but I think I'm gonna need a break since my right forearm is killing me. I did get quite a bit of work done before I had to stop though, namely, all of the new content for Norbermark is in and (semi-)tested.
My last two tasks before next build are making sure that spankers acknowledge that you're wearing certain garments, and writing random chatter for all the NPCs. Another thing I worked on earlier was more art like the stuff...

So for today, I worked on getting the combat system into the game in a finished state. There's only one enemy that you can come across at the moment, but adding new ones is really easy, so there will most likely be more for the build.
In other news, I finished the dryad quest, so that's pretty much all of the new content for Norbermark in, with the exception of some secrets. For the next couple of days, I'll be pulling together existing stuff and continuing to bugtest and fix what's broken.

Looks like we just passed the $50 dollar mark! Thank you so much to all of you guys for helping this project become a reality! Okay, so today was pretty busy with Dad's Day and all, but I did manage to get this little thing done. It's Aya's last day event! This one... Well it's a little heavy actually. Maybe too much so. I dunno, but I like it a lot. Anyway, with this done, it's just the dryad stuff that's left, I think.

So here's a little sneak peek at what I brewed up today. It's Eden's event! It's day-based just like the other ones and will show up on day 35, which leads me to my next point, I've nearly broken the 2 hour mark with gameplay time. I know that doesn't sound like a lot, but for a game like this, I feel that it's an achievement.

So today, I made butts. LOTS of butts. Nearly a set of butts for every spankable character in the game! With and without underwear too! I'm not sure how I'm going to fit these in just yet, but I feel that this will satisfy some of the folks who want art in the game for now.
Other stuff I worked on was finishing up the battle system from yesterday and polishing up some weirdness with some of the items. The battle system works great, and I can now use it for random world encounters! Neato!

So some of the new content I'm working on involves dryads, and as I was coding them, I figured I'd try my hand at making some art for them too. It's pretty terrible, I know, but for 32x32 sprite art that I scaled up and then cleaned up, it's not too bad! I'm not super sure if these will get in the game or not, because I don't know if I'm up for making a bunch of them, but in the future, who knows?

I have never been quite satisfied with the combat system in the game (exhibited at the tower). I feel that it's much too rigid to work for many different kinds of enemy, so today, I built a new one. Here's the basics:

Holy spumoni Batman, we surpassed the $25 dollar goal! This is the first content-oriented milestone that I have set up, the new content being the addition of a settlement to the island of Azzark.

So I'm aware that tears during a spanking aren't necessarily everyone's thing. That's cool bruh, because it's now OPTIONAL! At the beginning of the game, the player will be prompted if they want crying enabled or not, and if they choose no, it won't be included.

So I've begun work on making some of the other areas in the game a little bit more interesting, starting with the town you visit on day 7, Norbermark.
