As you can see, I'm getting pretty close to the end of the update.
I've learned a lot about how to estimate render counts, but unfortunately it took me a few failed attempts to get an actually accurate number. I knew what the path through this chapter was going to be, but I highly underestimated how many renders it would take to get there. Before I started, I was pretty sure I could do it in ~350 renders. So, this chapter is nearly twice as long as I intended it to be. I'm making daily progress (another progress report coming this week), but one thing on my mind right now is animations. My goal was to complete the chapter's static renders, and then pick a few spots in the chapter to attempt to animate, similarly to the animation in the first release.

Stumbled into the first version of the main menu background from the early days of starting Renpy development. I had to tone it down a bit, since I wanted the main menu image to be the Patreon banner. But the silhouette is a nice view...

While waiting for a few renders to finish earlier, I threw together this in-game patron list. Some people used pseudonyms, so I listed those as-is. For those of you who have what appear to be real names, I've shorted the last name to an initial. Please let me know in this post or on discord if you want to opt out of this list or change your listed name to something else.

There is some discussion over Naomi’s piercings.
I know that some people don't like septum piercings (and I usually don't), but this one looked really neat and gave the character a unique flair.

Tonight I spent a few hours remaking Jenny. There was something wrong with the previous iteration that wouldn't let me properly simulate cloth physics. But no more! Jenny 2.0 can now wear clothes with cloth physics! So here's a test render, in all its cloth-y glory.

This is a minor update, which adds a Select Game Mode choice at the start of the game. This gives players two options: Normal Mode (bonus scenes are unlocked by puzzle completion) and Story Mode (all puzzles are skipped and all bonus scenes are unlocked). This lets everyone play however they'd like to play!
