Hope in April

Aside from perhaps a wee bit of stir-craziness (& her perennial lack of self-awareness), Hope's no worse for wear. In fact, her spirits are still pretty high. And would you believe, she even managed to scratch off one of those nagging bucket list items? The old "lazy newsperson routine."

She Had That Dream Again (1?)

The first thing she remembers is always the rickety old elevator. From no later than the 80's, given the garish mix of wood & brownish steel paneling. Slowly lowering, its fluorescents seem to flicker a little as she realizes she's in nothing but a starchy, light blue hospital gown, with matching slippers. She has absolutely no idea why. The times they might be trying, but Hope's doing her part & staying home. Her & her yeti slippers. And way more food than even she might be able to handle. 

Emphasis on "might" though, as you should never really count her out.

Soft Launch

It had been a while since the company unveiled any new products. So to coincide with the release of their patented, brand new "Three-Course-Dinner" gum, the office held something of an internal "soft launch" event. A shorter one that still ended up going a little longer than I wanted. The next one will pick up after another slight jump ahead in about a week or two of the story's time. There's still a good deal of story in front of us. More soon!

Quick Update Post -- Archiving Some Older Work

Just wanted to give a quick heads up. 

In the coming weeks, I'll probably look to upload some of my older work on here (or at least the ones I'm still pretty happy with anyway LoL), in addition to the new content I'm working on.

Second half of that last Ladies' Night part. Crazy to think I wanted them both all as one chapter, but glad to be done with this part of the story. A decent chunk of the next part's been started already too.

Bellflower Part 33

In this installment, it's once again Ladies' Night. But now that Deidre is in the know, she has a few reservations, while Rachel worries about discussing the whole Penny matter directly in front of Penny.

Spent a good portion of today writing, even though I felt a bit more like drawing. After I got a sizable chunk done, I decided to cool down with a sketch & ended up with this as a start. But I'm not entirely certain exactly what their back story should be.
