I was hoping to have a new "Adjustment Period" page drawn today, but alas, pretty much the whole day was blown on helping a friend with his car problems. I told the good wife that I'd been giving my pal Donny some hose, because he really needed it. She took this news in good humor.

   Whereas Hündrat was literally born to be a soldier, and has had plenty of fight training and experience. I don't think she's gonna accept the Doc's generous offer to stand by and watch him butcher her friends, in return for a small paycheck.

OK, OK, this is the last toon from my nostalgia trip. In 1979 I had a sketch diary, and gleefully filled it up with exuberant doodles. Back then, making pictures was just for FUN! I'm still chortling at the guy with the garden hose, & where the water goes.
