So I thought I'd run this tale from 1998 as a Sunday naughtie. Spent the morning trying to dig out the original scans of the pages. Could not find 'em, so I finally gave up and re-scanned the original art.

Still haven't managed to dig out the time & energy to make more Cartoon History of Iceland pages. How did I manage to be so effortlessly productive, back in the day? Oh yeah! No wife, house, dog and car to take care of. Adulting doesn't always get easier with time.

So here's another Golden Oldie to hold ya until I steal time from some other project to work on the Cartoon History one.

But there were no tiers available in the paid post menu - only the free one. It seems I can either post a page for free, or not post it at all. The good wife and I had a little adventure today, so I once again have no time to color in the Icelandic History page. But I've scored a set of felt tip markers, so the coloring will commence as soon as time allows.

Meanwhile, Patreon claims there's a way to both charge for a post, AND make it public. It seems severely counter-intuitive to me - I'd never have guessed it if "Mikey" hadn't told me the secret of it. Of course, since I suspect "Mikey" is an AI bot, it might be hallucinat...

The settings for Patreon pages have been changed yet again, so I have no idea if I'm charging for this post or not, or if it's even publicly accessible. I wish the interface designers would stop trying to justify their jobs by constantly tinkering with the code - And in 98% of cases, making it worse.

The wife and kids are out of state, seeing her dad before cancer kills him (Have I mentioned I hate cancer?). So I'm left with their chores as well as my own. And the Koch-book people are getting impatient for results, too. Ergo, my free time's a tad limited. So I haven't been able to claw together the hours required to color in today's Icelandic History page. Hopefully, I'll replace this black-and-white version with the color version when I finally have it done, OK?
