Children of their Fathers, part 32.

The dealers have machine-guns! This is a job for a tank.

People who aren't telepathic wizards must obtain their information the hard way, by slogging thru days of irrelevant data, in hopes of sieving out nuggets of usable info.

But this is comics, and people sitting and staring at screens isn't that interesting to watch - so we're skipping thru Sherman's intro to corporate culture pretty fast.

Street thuggery is not actually as cool as the fashion industry would have us believe. But we all learn by experience...

Sorry this went up so late in the day - I recently got back from a Saturday trip to my secret summer retreat, up by Show Low.

There are steep, twisty hills on the way there, and the last bit to my summer place is not so much a road as a suggestion. I anticipated trouble for my poor old van, so I loaded up with extra coolant, oil, hose clamps, gloves, funnel, etc, besides the spares and tools already there.

Amazingly, nothing went wrong (and we spotted someth...

Ugh yeah, it's Wednesday already, isn't it? That's what happens when you take on too many projects at once - they all get done late and half-assed.

The laws of physics (and physiology) will not be mocked. Sorry, folks.

If you get TOO cynical, it can be paralyzing. A study reported that although cynics had a more realistic "take" on the world around them than optimists did, the optimists were doing better in the real world - and enjoying it more.

Aside from non-negotiable stuff like the laws of physics, we all make our own reality?

Well....if he does win, I'm pretty sure Sherm will be a VERY hands-on Congressman.

Meanwhile, in loathsome disease news, I'm better, but my good wife is down with the same stomach bug. At least is seems to be slightly less violent in her case - immodium seems to work on it.

Ooog! It's mid-June already, and I haven't gotten May's Perks in the mail. Hope to get 'em out after the weekend. I can only beg your indulgence, good Patrons. It's been....uneven.....

Sorry this is late and crude, but I've been sick. Speaking of which, I'm feeling better. Still not 100%, but getting there. I'm eating again, carefully selecting foods that will hurt the least, in case they come back up.

This might have been a stomach virus, rather than food poisoning - I've heard tell of other people around town suffering this same ailment, and they can't all have been eating Safeway chicken.

Not that I'm gonna buy it again - have you...

Sorry to post so late in the day. I've been dealing with a vicious case of food poisoning. Kind that has you hunched over, driving the porcelain bus at 3:30 AM, little chunks of last night's dinner ending up in your sinuses.

The main suspect is greasy grocery-store chicken. Ain't gonna buy one of those again anytime soon.

Oh! And in case you hadn't heard, I've started a new Patreon:

It's light and silly, but that's exactly why I've been wanting to bring back the lil' bowler-hatted patriot. We can all use a little lightening of the mood in these tense times.

Find a way to get people to pay you to do what you love, and you'll never "work" a day in your life.

Which very much applies to my Patreon page. Thanks again, my lovely, put-your-money-where-your-mouth-is fans!

A one-panel Teeka "gag" for dessert this week, to establish the scene for the upcoming story. And yes, all characters are over the age of 18.

Gods, I am so TIRED of all the pathetic little SJW's pissing in our cultural punch-bowl, trying to ruin the party for everyone because they can't contribute anything positive.

Whoops! Almost missed posting the traditional Saturday page. In my defense, it's been quite a busy day. But when isn't my day busy, these years? I'll blame the heat, instead.
