Saturday Shenanigans: Senior Moments.

I've been wondering what I can run here, when I don't have brand new stuff to show off. And it occurred to me that I have "mass-letters" (I used to be quite the letterhack. I duplicated the bulk of my letters, so I could write to multiple people faster) going back decades. In fact, I was thinking of collecting 'em into a book.

    So unless I have new comix to show off, or Cartoon History of Iceland pages finally assembled, how about if I run the funnier (or at least heavily illustra...

The ruined wedding is a reference to one of the very first Savage Squirrel stories, first published in a minicomic in the early 80's. The Internet was preceded by the "small press" - where amateur 'tooners and writers used the advanced technology of photocopiers to make a great variety of small print-run comix and 'zines, which we then traded via snailmail amongst each other (with review 'zines like Factsheet 5 often acting as a central message-board).

    I miss that era, sometimes....

I should've introduced the Sex Club sooner, but I think it's pretty obvious: The enthusiastic fans of the new craze, sex, started a club to promote their favorite activity. In fact, it was largely organized by the same folks who run the local athletic club and set up track meets.
