Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory - re:View
Hey everyone!
The next video we'll be releasing is the Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory re:View but then after that, we have finally filmed a new Best of the Worst! It's slightly stripped down from a regular episode, but it's slightly more elaborate than a spotlight episode AND we created a new gimmick! It's a bad movie box cover scavenger hunt!

We shot two videos this week. The first is a new Half in the Bag where we discuss two very very different recent digital releases: The Assistant and the new Netflix "movie" "produced" by "Happy Madison," The Wrong Missy.
And then we also shot a new re:View for the original Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory! It also goes into the Tim Burton version a little bit too.

We'll most likely be posting the next Half in the Bag near the end of this weekend. As mentioned before, we discuss Neil Breen's new 5 film retrospective, which coincidentally or not is 5 hours long. For a "documentary" (or whatever you want to call it) that mostly consists of Neil Breen sitting on his couch talking, there was a lot to discuss. Also mentioned in a previous update post is that we watched another movie that is pretty much completely random and there's no good reason why we did ...

We invited some friends over for a quarantine party!
2020-05-15 13:59:27 +0000 UTC View PostHey everyone! The Plinkett Picard review is coming along. There's very little live action stuff that needed to be shot for it, but we shot those few bits yesterday. Part of that entailed slathering the Best of the Worst discussion table with peanut butter (we just needed a green surface to key out).
We're also planning to shoot a new Half in the Bag today. We'll be talking about Neil Breen's new 5 1/2 hour 5 Film Retrospective! We'll also be talking about...another film. It's not a new ...

This is sort of fun. While editing my Star Trek Picard review and going through old TNG episodes, I noticed this little gem. During a semi-tense view screen chat with an armed Romulan Warbird Patrick Stewart either had a long day or just woke up. He tries to stay awake and his eyes wander off for a second wondering when this God Damn take will be over so he can get some coffee. It's subtle, but you can tell he's only half-paying attention as this lady stumbles through her boring lines. Ahhhhh...

You don't really see much of it in the episodes, but on Mike's side of the quarantine wall, there's stacks and stacks of broken VCRs.
2020-04-22 14:04:56 +0000 UTC View PostWe've decided to split the next Half in the Bag into two parts. For one, we can get a video out to everyone a little sooner that way since the discussion ended up being over 2 hours! Also the flow of the episode and the topics discussed seems to work better this way. So the first part, where we discuss Tiger King and The Invisible Man as well as the current state of movie theaters and planned theatrical releases going to VOD, should be out really soon!

In addition to editing the Plinkett video about Star Trek: Picard, we just shot a new Half in the Bag where we do quarantine catch-up, talking about some stuff we've been watching while in isolation. These include Tiger King, Gretel & Hansel, Vivarium, The Invisible Man, and of course the most anticipated movie of all time, THE BOY 2!!!!

Due to the apocalypse, it'll be a while before we actually get to use it but here's some photos of the construction of the new Wheel of the Worst!
2020-04-16 16:36:57 +0000 UTC View PostHey everyone. The next video that's going to be released soon is our re:View of the 1993 comedy Freaked. We're also still working on a behind the scenes video about the making of Space Cop. We've uncovered even more behind the scenes footage than we originally thought we had! It'll probably end up being about 30 minutes long or so. And yes, we're also currently working on a follow up Star Trek: Picard video! That one might take a little longer than the other Picard videos.
2020-04-11 14:16:08 +0000 UTC View PostHey everyone. We're currently editing two different projects. As mentioned before, we're putting together a behind the scenes video about the making of Space Cop, which is filled with several years worth of behind the scenes footage we've never released before. We're also editing a re:View of Eli Roth's first movie Cabin Fever! It's not exactly a completely glowing positive look back on the movie like a lot of other re:View episodes are. But it's a movie we've had on our minds lately given th...
2020-03-26 13:44:50 +0000 UTC View PostHey everyone. Hope you're all staying safe. Obviously this recent situation has thrown the world out of whack but we still have some videos coming up. We have a few ideas for re:Views (including the Freaked re:View that's been on the backburner for a while) and maybe a Half in the Bag. Also, we've been prepping our movies Feeding Frenzy and Space Cop to be added to Amazon video and in sifting through the Space Cop hard drives, we realized we have a ton of behind the scenes footage that has ne...
2020-03-20 19:22:25 +0000 UTC View PostYesterday Rich and I talked about Star Trek: Picard for an hour and 51 minutes... now time to edit the video and find a suitable running time that accurately shows our disdain for the show. It's probably going to end up being roughly one hour and 51 minutes long. STAY TUUUUUUNEEEEEDDDDDDDDD
